I will still give it a 3 as the Bagels was soft, moist and a lot of varieties to offer. The coffee they have has a unique taste of chocolate in it which is unique and tasteful. The only part I could suggest as we are a new costumer. The lady didn't suggest anything just standing at front of us. Good thing Ive research it online what are the selections for breakfast you offer. She might didn't hear me when I said BLT on cheese bagel. We got my son's bagel nothing on it. My partner went on the lady and I heard her saying. "That what she said. She didn't say BLT." She might didn't hear me which is okay but being in this kind of industry for 15 years. I could be more constructive like "I could fix that to BLT but there is additional cost if that is okay". We do not mind paying extra but she didn't suggest at that time plus she was blaming the costumer. We do understand that she might did not hear us BUT we are willing to pay but she could be more constructive with her response. The lady on the cashier did not REPEAT the order. Which could fix the issue before we sit on the table. "Just to make sure we got everything right. You ordered for..........." this wont take time for them to ask. We will visit the branch for take out of bagels and coffee but no dine in. The egg, sausage was microwaved and it...
Read moreThank you for the response, but there is no way to contact you - the website just gives me an email in Toronto. Am I meant to call the store and ask for 'the manager'? As well, if you are regularly making ingredient substitutions, this could pose even more problems for people with food sensitivity as your counter staff may be unaware of these substitutions? I stand by my previous comment - I'm not looking for recipes, just what ingredients are in what products. When I order a whole wheat bagel, I'm not looking for a pumpernickel bagel. The lack of pricing online is frustrating as well.
My husband likes their bagels; I used to like their bagels. However, he's picked up some bagels to go twice in the last 3 weeks and I was totally underwhelmed. Last week he got me a 'multigrain' that was a little beige, and may have had a seed or two sprinkled on it. This week, I just asked for whole wheat, and got something that tastes like caramel colour and some rye flour, no where near even Timmy's somewhat weird 12-grain. Cannot find ingredient lists or prices anywhere on the website either!! Seriously, Wendy's does this, why can't you? The 'white' bagels seem fine, but again, who can tell what they're made of, good luck to anyone with food sensitivities - not recommending due to complete lack of...
Read moreI'm new to Moncton. However, I get a dozen (or two) of their bagels at least once per week. They have the best bagels in town. BUT, yesterday noon, we've been served by a lady that was picking only "defective" bagels for us. My wife and I noticed that while she was picking the bagels for us, she kept selecting then returning the bagels and reselecting other bagels. By that time, we didn't understand why she was doing that. However, after leaving the shop and going to the park it was quite clear that she picked only bagels that were not good looking (e.g. shaped improperly) or with almost no cheese on them...etc.
That was really frustrating for us, especially that we've been served on our previous 7 or 8 visits by 2 other ladies and one gentleman professionally and we've never faced such strange behavior.
I would have definitely given a rating of 5+ for the tasty bagels they bake except for this unpleasant and...
