Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in District Municipality of Muskoka

Ordered a vegetarian pizza over the phone around 10:30 PM and walked in to pick it up. Three staff members (2 ladies and 1 gentleman) were socializing while I stood there without so much an acknowledgement. I went to wash my hands and returned to the same scene. When they finally acknowledged me I was told that my pizza was being made and would need a few more minutes. I took it to go in my vehicle, and then was shocked when I bit into meat pieces of what was supposed to be a vegetarian pizza! I asked my spouse to check her slices and sure enough there were bits of pepperoni pieces on 3 or 4 of the slices on that pizza. What disappointed me even more was that given the staff's strict dietary culture themselves I expected a more careful understanding and implementation of what a vegetarian diet entails and the importance of having only veggies on a vegetarian pizza. Had they paid more attention to making the pizza instead of distracting each other they would have seen me walk in, acknowledged me properly, and ensured that the pizza was done correctly to the usually high Pizza Pizza standards. Slightly disappointed. I've ordered from there 3 times, and 2/3 of the experiences were disappointing. The first time we ordered, we received great, polite customer service, but the food was terrible. We spent close to $60 and everything was sloppy. I'm a very forgiving person; chalked it up to busyness, and willing to give it another chance. The second time we ordered, we received great customer service and the food was great! 👍 So we decided to order again today. Today we didn't get what we ordered (not the correct dips, and wedges instead of fries in the Wing-It Box). I knew from the phone service that if they run out of something, they will replace it with a similar item. So I suppose I can't complain about wedges instead of fries. But Italian Marinara dip is nothing like Garlic Dip. Also, we did not receive the cheesy bread that we ordered. We ordered 2 pizzas, a salad, cheesy bread and a Wing-It Box. A total of 5 items, and only received 4 items. That's not good when a customer spends $82 on food, delivery, taxes and a tip, and doesn't get...

They said they do not deliver in my region. I was 7min away from the pizza pizza location in Huntsville. The newer subdivisions off Muskoka road 3, and they have been here for at least 4 years. I was at a friend's house, my house is 5 min further than that and they do deliver to my place! I called customer service just because I thought the app wasn't working because it couldn't find my address in the system. After being on the phone for 20min, the customer service called pizza pizza in Huntsville only to confirm that we are indeed 7min away and also were outside of the delivery area. Instead of delivering anyway, a discount or trying to open a ticket to add this neighborhood to the system the only thing the customer service could say was, 'can you not just go and pick it up?'. No if we could we would have done that to begin with! Sorry but I'll get pizza from other places...
