I had the pleasure of visiting Shelby's Chip Wagon recently, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment my wife and I arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine family atmosphere.

We made a special trip all the way from Orillia to sample their renowned Poutine and Hamburger, and we were not disappointed. The highlight for me was definitely the poutine gravy. It was simply amazing! The flavor was perfect, with a unique twist that set it apart from other poutine gravies I've tried. It definitely wasn't bland, but rather a burst of rich and savory goodness that elevated the dish to a whole new level.

Aside from the fantastic food, the service at Shelby's Chip Wagon was exceptional. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure that we had a memorable dining experience. It's evident that they take pride in what they do and genuinely care about their customers.

How after coming up here for 10 plus years (my wife for 35 years) did we just find Shelby’s tonight??? I overheard my neighbour mention that it was the place to go for fries, so when my wife had a craving for poutine we sought it out. Not only was the poutine and onion rings both amazing!!, but the service was fantastic too!!! Direct quote from both my wife and my daughter was that this was literally “the best onion rings and poutine they have ever had”.

Cash only caught me a bit unprepared, (‘cause who carry’s cash?) but i had enough to get what we needed. I wasn’t sure how much to order but 1 poutine and 2 onion rings was enough for the 4 of us and there was some left of both. Shelby’s is a true gem that we will be repeating in our future trips up here.

WOW!!!!! I have been to some chip wagons in my time but THIS one has outdone them all with their obvious popularity!!!! I suppose they take phone orders or the locals come by and order on their way home because it was awhile before I got my order of "small" chips. And good for them for their popularity!! A bit pricy in my books for what I thought was going to be a small container of chips like most other places but when I got them it was MASSIVE!!!!! I would have loved to try their burgers.....probably would have been better than my mediocre and expensive meal at the TABOO RESORT!!!!! And for those of us...
