Went here after a hike to relax with some friends. Walking in place, it did look really nice and clean and spacious. Though there isn't really a direction where to line up since there's 2 entrances. Food looked good, but the bakery side we saw a fruit fly on so didn't look too pleasant. Its normal though there should be a closing door so that this doesn't happen. We got 2 drinks and the a panini, panini I found good and the drinks weren't too bad. For sure you can taste the Espresso for the drinks which may be positive to coffee lovers. There isn't an area to put plates back ,so we went up to give to staff instead. Didn't want to leave the plates on the table.

Ooooh looky what I found at Delany's today: Nothing less than The Actual Factual Meaning Of Life! In a cup of deliciously warming coffee. (I wait in wonder with baited breath for when enlightenment will ensue). I am LOVING that Delany's Lynn Valley now offers a small but tasty selection of specialised dietary options in their baked goods! I am seeing a regular smattering of vegan, sugar free, or gluten free muffins, energy bars and even scones. The servers are friendly and quick on their feet, and represent the beautiful diversity our glorious nation. Keep up the good work! Five stars for this review.

A good designed beautiful coffee shop in a perfect location. It locates in a village style building. The patio is nice with shady tree in hot summer days. The shop is good for kids since there are some play area near by for kids without cars. The library is just next door. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The coffee and tea are good but the cinnamon bun what we get is not fresh. The outside of the bun is hard and dry. It's a good coffee shop meeting with friends all the time.

Overall I’m very disappointed in this coffee house. Which is a shame as it’s in the heart of the village. Since we have moved to the area we have be coming to this whole every other weekend. Service has never been amazing but I’ve always chalked it up to covid and the fact that they are busy. Last weekend we ordered a coffee and iced Americanized. The Americano was sour and tasted like ashes. Had a replacement made and it was much better. No issues it happens.

This weekend… a different story. I walked in and took a look at the sandwiches for the women directly behind in a red shirt call for someone else to get my order even when she was directly in front of me. Only for someone else to come up and act completely disconnected and repeat my order wrong and give me a blank stare. When I received the first coffee the barista slapped it down and call my name without even calling out the order.

When I asked what the drink was turns out it was wrong. And they had switched my order for my bf order. After telling them it was fine and not worth remaking I waited for a while for the second drink only for a women to ask me if I had received the breakfast croissant yet? Nope. Sure haven’t. It was just now being placed in the oven. Finally made it out and sipped my coffee it was burnt and sour tasting. I Went back and asked for a fresh one only to received a sour bad coffee for the second time that day and third time in a row.

My boyfriends coffee was good with no issues. At this time I simply asked for a refund as I was super disappointed in the coffee. They loudly kept asking each other ‘what’s the problem?’ And when I replied it’s burnt and tastes sour the women in a red shirt just said ‘well then it’s not our shots…’ as if that would simply make my bad coffee better. They offered no resolution and were annoyed when I asked for a refund.

Before loudly asking each other who took my order. After telling them it was a man a women went up to a door and knocked loudly asking this person if they were in the bathroom?? Finally I had to once again explain the coffee was sour and burnt tasting and I just wanted a refund. Only to have cash given back without telling me the amount…

My coffee order wasn’t hard… medium coconut milk PSL 1/2 sweet. Large PSL half sweet and a breakfast croissant. One of these coffees was good the other was burnt. The worst part was they weren’t even busy. Having worked in the service industry for years I do understand that it can be demanding and tiring. But at this moment it was not busy or rushed.

Seems like they are really disconnected and lack any attention to detail. And when a complaint was made politely they continued to act in an unprofessional manner and disgruntled. We likely won’t be...

I love Delany's Coffee House for their coffee, great service and amiable staff. This morning, however, I was unduly disappointed at the Lynn Valley Location. I ordered my latte, added my customary 15% tip at 11:05 a.m. and proceeded to wait another 20-25 minutes to hear my name called just before 11:30 a.m.. It was not inordinately busy for a Sunday morning but I did notice a few other people in the same situation as myself looking visibly but patiently irritated. If there was some kind of machinery malfunction, I am sure that any of the slightly bothered clientele would have been more than understanding. When I picked up my latte, there was no acknowledgment of this inexcusable inconvenience. I would have appreciated at least a 'sorry for the long wait' or 'thank you for your patience' as a simple courtesy. Alas, I received nothing but my coffee and did not complain. I left with a bad taste in my mouth which had nothing to do with the coffee.

Thank you...
