Response to Owner: I've changed my review from 3 star to 1 star because of owner's response, completely invalidating my concerns. Whether or not there was mold is not up for debate, it WAS moldy. I am certainly not trying to upset you; this is just the experience I had, otherwise, i would've posted a positive review. I'm sorry you do not feel my claims are valid but that is definitely not up for debate.

Original Review: Honestly feel bad writing this because I was so excited to try the food here as I've never come by before. I'm also way too shy to complain about food to the cooks because I don't want them to feel bad. I tried a medium regular poutine and a classic burger... I took a few bites and I realized I was tasting mold. I thought maybe my taste buds were off or that I was crazy, but after a few bites, I realized in fact, that it was mold I was tasting... Got my 2 friends to smell and they confirmed I was smelling and eating mold. The burger was pretty decent, I think that the bun was nice. Amazing chip shop with great costumer service. pay no attention to negative reviews as from what I’ve seen they all come from people who have never had the decency to talk constructively with the owners an instead took into their own hands to go home and bring down the reputation of this fine establishment. They close at 6 so expecting food far after those times is unusual and as far as care and kindness towards your order have some compassion for the person working in a hot chip stand in the middle of a sunny field. They may not pay complete attention to your stories and conversations due to tiredness at the end of their shift and as for lack of food they make everything by hand and Connor Will it into existence at your pleasure. Stopped in on a whim as we were passing by. Knew nothing about the place.

Everything on the menu board sounded great, and we thought we were ready to order but then the person before us got served the most awesome looking smash burger.

My daughter and I immediately changed our mind and ordered the same (The Canadian Smash burger, fries & drink - $18).

Definitely the best burger I've ever had at a food truck. And better than most restaurant/pub burgers I've had too.

Service was a little slow, but I think we came in on the tail end of a mini-rush.
