Husky House Restaurant — Restaurant in Dryden

Worst lunch I ever had, prices high, food stale and service nonexistent. Two out of three of us got sick after eating here, after paying 50 bucks for 3 lunch items which were mediocre at very best.

When we first got in, we wandered around but no servers were there, we eventually sat ourselves and after about 5 minutes the one server came. My dad ordered a 17$ Ruben sandwich and asked to substitute a salad instead of fries and were told that was fine. Upon receiving the bill he had been charged an extra 3 bucks for a side salad that was thought to be no extra cost.

My 16$ "Montreal smoked meat" sandwhich came cold(I was not told there was a toasted option...the Ruben came toasted without asking)with two or so slices of meat and with cold, stale fries that tasted funny as they had been cooking I presume in old oil. The included pickle was missing along with gravy on fries and when I waved the server down she simply waved back with a confused expression until we called her over which was comical. Felt quite sick after eating.

Mom ordered a 14$ mac n cheese wrap which came lukewarm at best with a stale tortilla and bacon that was almost entirely fat...she was throwing up in the car for a while after we left which was not pleasant.

Basically the worst 50 dollars we ever spent on "cooked food". The server never bothered to seat us, check on us, or ask us...

I have eaten at a Husky Restaurant a couple times (as that's where I've ended up along my travels due to limited options). In my experience, the food is overpriced and mediocre, at best.

For example, I went into the Husky Restaurant earlier this week and first asked how much a Western Sandwich would be, without any sides. The server rang it up and advised that the sandwich alone would have been $9.09! We are talking about 2 standard pieces of bread with a thin layer of egg mixed with ham and veg in between. I wouldn't pay anymore than $5 (Taxes in) for that. So, I left the restaurant!

The only way I'll dine at a Husky Restaurant again is if I have enough Husky Points to use towards my breakfast, but it's not worth it putting my hard-earned money towards and in support of this garbage. Husky is fully taking advantage of professional drivers who have limited food options along their travels, and it's disgusting.

ALL of the Husky Restaurants should just get wiped out. I'd rather see a subway or a better chain restaurant in their place. Flying J is doing it right - take a hint from...

This place....oh man. The bathrooms are always so disgusting. The female washroom has smelled like vomit for weeks.

Decided to go in for coffee and fries with the girlfriend tonight. Her coffee creamer came out curdled. It was seriously cheese! So nasty. It turned her right off. She couldn't eat the fries after that. So she sent them back. Probably a wise move as the cooks apron looked like it hadn't been washed all week.

I'm done parking here. The lot is so full of pot holes anyway. This place is a complete dump. The nail in the coffin was her charging me 3.15 for the one cup of coffee that I actually drank. Was to disgusted to consider having a refill.

Such a shame, because the Husky House used to be amazing. Once upon a time.... But if you want some good food and a better washroom experience, go visit the Husky House in Thunder Bay. It is...
