Standard issue KFC food. The service is slllllow, but its Dryden so what's the rush? The ladies at the drive through made me CRINGE in embarrassment.
My family of 5 and I were passing through town and stopped in to pick up lunch on our way to Thunder Bay. We ordered lots of food because we had no idea when we see another sign of civilization. I always check the bag to make sure that the order is ok and in doing so noticed that there were only 3 ketchup packages. No big deal, I asked for a few more. The lady's attitude completely changed and she said NO like I was begging her for change at a stop light. I figured she was joking and waited for the ketchup. She asked me if I was waiting for something and I realized she was serious so I asked for her manager.
Her manager was visibly outraged at my request and informed me that KFC has policies regarding condiments. I did not want any problems in Dryden so I offered to pay for a few. I presented my credit card and she nearly busted a blood vessel. She told me she did not want to run a credit card transaction for ketchup. She gave me 3 more in anger. I took them and rushed...
Read moreWhere to begin, I mean I went in and waited, like you normally would. I ordered my food and 2 fountain drinks. I went to the fountain dispensers and clicked the Brisk Iced Tea. An eruption came out, immediately staining the sides of my cup. Idk what it was, whether it was build up because the machine hadn't been washed or whether it was something else, but I didn't drink that. I then waited in line for 40 minutes for my food to arrive. The restaurant wasn't busy, so a 40 minute wait for 3 food items is kinda ridiculous. Add onto that the fact that another customer asked the associate for an extra fork and napkin, which took them 20 minutes to grab, didn't help. Before the aforementioned quest for the Fork and Napkin, The associate brought out a bag of food and put it on the counter out of reach from customers, but not out of view. That bag of food, I would later find out, was my food. So it just sat there for 20 minutes while the associate went hunting for a fork and napkin. I mean really? The food was good, but idk if it was worth the wait, considering I waited an hour to eat a sandwich...
Read moreJust when I thought customer service in Dryden couldn't get any worse I went to KFC. I placed my to order, sat down to wait, a man behind me was waiting at the counter for his order. The cashier brings out a box, gives it to the man at the counter, he's picking at , rearranging the food with his hands, whatever it's his food and he's waiting for something else. I'm now 20 minutes waiting and now fed up. I go to the counter to ask about my order, the lady has no clue what my order is. I tell her, she looks at the box that the guy standing beside me has, decided that was mine, takes it from him and gives it to me, are you serious right now??? I refused it, obviously and she really didn't get why. I asked for a refund, which was given to me without issue. I rarely ever go there because the service is always terrible and always a long wait. Since this new ownership has taken over is has done nothing but become a terrible place to eat. Are there not industry standards for franchises, a certain quantity to...
