The Fickle Pickle, is one of the newest hotspots in downtown Duncan. The cafe style restaurant has something for everyone, not just pickles. The food is never the same thanks to their chalkboard menu. Cute little kids section with colouring and stickers. They even have coffee mugs for purchase. Outdoor and indoor seating. Be sure to check their website daily!

This was quite literally THE best sandwich I've ever had. It was perfection. The employee was so friendly and engaging, too, which makes all the difference in a business. Also had an iced mocha which was great- not sickly sweet like everywhere else. Will definitely return, and recommend to everyone I know!

We stopped in here a couple months ago for lunch while driving to Nanaimo. The wraps were great and the little side of soup was also so good. The service was really friendly, you could tell they actually cared about the customers enjoying the food. Really fun bathroom too!

I came here for a quick bite to eat while travelling in the afternoon on Sunday. I was craving the croissant sandwich I saw on another Google review. When I came in, the decor was really nice, and there was some fun music playing. There was a couple seated at a table already eating, otherwise I was the only customer there. I asked about the sandwich I saw on Google, and the lady at the counter told me the menu changes daily and they didn’t have that or the pickle soup. I checked out the other options on the menu, and asked if they happened to have any croissants to make the breakfast sandwich with, the lady at the counter seemed to get agitated with my questions. She said probably not, but she would go check, left and then came back to the counter and said “so what do you want?” I asked again if there were any croissants as she never got back to me about that, and I got a fairly agitated no. I ended up ordering the ham breakfast sandwich and asked for a pickle on the side. Unsure if I was charged for the pickle or not. I asked for the order to go. It was ready fairly fast, and I took my order without checking and left. When I opened it after getting in the car, there was no pickle on the side or on the sandwich. Not sure how that was forgotten when it wasn’t busy and the restaurant is pickle themed. As for the $7 sandwich, I took a bite and noticed crunchy bits, so I opened it to check it out. There was black bits of burnt whatever from the grill all over my ham, but the ham wasn’t cooked enough to be charred. The side of then bun with the ham was coated with brown/black grease. And the egg was RAW. I’m ok with a sunny side up egg, but the whites were still very clear and goopy. And I wasn’t given any napkins for the yolk that exploded all over the place. I was in a rush, so didn’t have time to go back, and honestly didn’t want to go deal with the lady at the counter again, she seemed super annoyed with me for having questions in a restaurant I’ve never been to...

I went in there the other day I had an order to pick up. The lady wasn't very nice at all to me. She said I was 15 minutes late and that I had to pay for the order and that I was responsible for it. Never heard of having to pay for an order if the Dasher is late picking it up. Couldn't find the restaurant for starters. Didn't even know it existed. The sign outside is very small. She needs to make it a little larger so that some people can see it. There was no reason for her to take and toss my customer's order across the counter at me and rip a strip out of me. So I told her I was calling my boss and reporting her and then she had some other words to say and I told her that maybe she should get a bigger sign and she said I was 15 minutes late. I was no longer than 7 minutes late picking up that order considering somebody else probably had the order before me and probably couldn't find the place either. I'm sorry for giving a bad review but she has no rights to be talking to me that the way she did and she should also respect her elders as I work hard for a living. I'm well over 65 and she shouldn't be talking to people...

I went to this place a few times to give it a try. I was honestly disappointed. For a place that has a whole “ pickle “ theme to it , all the times I’ve been there: none of the foods had anything to do with pickles, was a little disappointing. The service is terrible, there’s been many times when I look up online to see if they are open but every time I walk by they are closed. The times I’ve gotten to eat there felt like a rare chance because to me it seems they are always closed when they clearly State when they have their opening hours. The lady is rude also, I get that people have bad days and not always in the best mood but the times I’ve been there I never gotten the best service. This places has lots of opportunity to be good, and yet it feels like they are...
