Dear Cobs Newmarket Team,
I’m writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding a recent visit to your store. I was shocked to hear from your employee that the owner had reviewed the camera footage and made the decision not to allow staff to slice bread that wasn’t purchased at Cobs.
This is not an ethical or customer-focused practice. As a loyal customer who has regularly supported your business — even purchasing sliced bread in the past — I expected better treatment and honesty. If your products truly didn’t contain yeast as claimed, I might have continued to buy from you. But after this experience, I’ve lost trust in your values and customer service.
Unfortunately, I won’t be supporting your business any longer and will be sharing this disappointing experience with others. I hope you reflect on how this kind of decision impacts customer loyalty and your...
Read moreNo shame. On January 15th walked in around opening time & felt like a club blasting Indian music & it was blasting super loud through the speakers you can hardly hear anyone speak. Couldn’t hear the cashier at the front & had to tell her I couldn’t hear her & instead of lowering the volume of the music they adjusted to speak louder & just repeated themselves when I still couldn’t hear. Someone made a phone call & came back to say they are all bakers & only way to get the free bagel is to come back at 8am. No where on the email states the time. Won’t be back here again. Went to a different location right after this to see if they were doing the promo & they had no problem at all & knew about the bagels & started giving it out to people...
Read moreLate last month, I visited Cobbs to get my mom her favourite hot cross but unfortunately they didn’t have any left. I decided on a sticky bun instead as they looked gooey and delicious. Once at home, my mom went to pick up the gooey sticky bun only to notice it was dry as a cracker. A couple days later, I returned to Cobbs expecting excuses of why they wouldn’t be able to help me (I waited too long, receipt, etc.) only to be pleasantly surprised by Joselyn (sorry if I spelt your name incorrectly:/). She greeted me with a smile and asked how she could help. I explained what had happened and without any hesitation, she asked how she could rectify the situation. Joselyn was pleasant, understanding and turned my frown upside down. I will definetly be returning to Cobbs for their delicious hot cross buns and fresh bread. Thanks...
