This is a fatijas for two. It comes with 8 shells. The price was $48.00 and that is before tax. The toppings of lettuce, cheese, sour cream and salsa are in about a 3oz container. The sour cream I think is plenty because it's a spread. However I had to cut my own cheese and lettuce to make my fatijas. If you look at the meat it isnt even raised in the packaging because there was very little peppers and onions underneath. This is a portion for two and that is why I got two side rice. Very disappointing because when you done in the fried food is falling off the skillet. Now if I were to lay out the 8 shells which is the standard Lone Star serves with their fatijas for two do you actually think that those toppings would dress all 8 shells. NOPE! But you are still paying 48.00 dollars to try.

The worst service I've had anywhere in over a decade. Failed on all fronts. No one at front door for over 5 minutes. Took 15 minutes to get a table in an almost empty restaurant. Half of the tables were covered in dishes still (none were cleared during our entire meal) waited another 20 minutes for drinks. When food came they realized they'd forgotten an order (kids chicken fingers) was assured it would be out quick but the rest of us were almost done when it finally came. Kids quesadillas had several hairs in them. Steak for fajitas tasted like charcoal. Shredded cheese was dry and hard. Waited 25 minutes after finishing to get bill (you could hear the staff all partying it up in the back. No staff seen in the restaurant for over 30 minutes.)

Absolutely the best service I have ever had at a restaurant. The server went above and beyond expectations. We ordered a simple 1 serving of fajitas to share and she came out with 2 plates, sides and even extra Chips for our meal. Never went thirsty always had a refill without even asking. She politely asked us a couple times if we needed anything else making sure everything was good. I would highly recommend this Lone Star over others I visited. This was not my first visit and will never be my last now. It has become my favorite restaurant dining experience and deserved the best review I could give. Thank You LoneStar Newmarket Location. Been coming here since they opened. Probably the best Lonestar location I've ever visited.

Muffin is the absolute worst waitress I have ever had and I left no tip for the first time in my life. On Saturday, January 27th, we joined our group late and they had already enjoyed the tortilla chips and salsa and had ordered a couple appetizers - which was fine, but we were never brought or offered any of the complimentary chips/salsa by the waitress. We waited forever for drinks and by the time we ordered our mains, most of the other diners had left, leaving a much emptier (more manageable) restaurant. Understandably, after a busy night, they were out of steak - np. I got the fajitas and my husband ordered the wings. I got one strip of green pepper, lots of fried onions, dried out chicken that were all cold and not sizzling on the skillet. The flour tortillas were cold as well, it's as if i got someone else's leftovers that had sat all night. My husband had asked for ranch for his veggie sticks and instead they were put on the wings and the veggie sticks were dried out and woody. Muffin never cleared the appetizers/empty cups off the table when she delivered the mains and was nowhere to be seen the entire night - she never came to check on us to ensure we were enjoying the meal or needed drink refills. When we got our bill, she had put 1/3 of the apps that our friends enjoyed on our bill, even though we had none. When I questioned it, there was no apology - nothing. By that point I was hungry and upset as I couldn't enjoy my cold food and was just ready to leave, so I paid for apps I didn't eat, cold food I barely touched it was so awful and my husband also didn't enjoy his wings. The real kicker is when I watched another waitress who was cleaning off the tables that sat dirty for quite a long time sweep them off with the broom she was cleaning the filthy floors with. We used to love this place but will...

Yesterday we said goodbye to Lonestar after 18 years of being LoneStar fajitas fans. Our love affair began early in 99 with complimemtaty chips and salsa, conceso with a side of jalapeño peppers, 2 coronas, and streak fajitas (hold the peco, extra quac). It was our standing order for years. On occasion we would try something else on the menu, but imo, nothing came close to the fajitas. We have been to pretty much every location in the GTA plus Ottawa. We would happily drive a distance to get our fajita fix. Over the course of recent years, the Lonestar we loved was sadly loosing its greatness. Inconsistencies with tastes (new cheff we were told), the salsa never tastes the same, food not coming out sizzling hot (they were very busy we were told) inexperienced servers due to high turnover rates, (bringing me food i didn't order and failing to bring me food I did), fajitas have become less appealing with items not being included anymore, a table spoon of quac is rediculously priced, can we have more than 2 wraps, new fees for this and that, you only get one option with this, no refills for that... and overly long wait times for food. Finally after our dinner yesterday, I said to my family, we will no longer be coming here. For the amount of money we spent, and we didn't even order drinks, (water) it just wasn't worth it. I miss the simplicity of ordering and knowing what I was getting. Perhaps it is just this one location that just can't seem to get it right... but alas it is time to say goodbye to the circus of ever changing menu options for my fajitas. Adiós LoneStar. I will forever remember my takeout meal in Ottawa of a 32 oz. conceso with chipa that I ate for dinner... solo. Yea, pretty nasty but I was much younger back...

I went to Lone Star in Newmarket last night for a family bday dinner . Our server made several mistake when the first 3 of us arrived. And more mistake as the rest of the guest arrived also . She forgot several simple things with the first drink order . Straws for the margaritas, limes for another drink and water . Server insisted a drink be up sized even when one of my party said NO and again said NO THANK YOU . Server had to be reminded twice to bring water, straws and limes . Limes were brought and no straws or water. As food started to come to table by another server they had to be asked to bring the water ordered 20 minutes earlier. I ordered the Dos steak fajitas for the bday girl and myself to share the server was told this twice and had to be shown on menu what the order was. The sever claimed they had been there for 1 year and had no clue what beer they had in bottles for 2 of my guests $57.99 fajitas was served on a small single serving skillet. Less than 1 pound of meat was brought out for that double order . The $30 steak had more on plate than my order to share with bday girl . The manager was brought over and gave no real explanation for small portion . Before meal was completed server wanted to give us bill . No coffee or dessert offered . No apologies given for mistakes . Our 6 person order was $264 . Totally unimpressed with service and lack of professionalism also portion size . Music was way to loud causing everyone to almost have to yell order . As I tried to explain to server my issues she rudely kept interrupting me and I had to tell her to stop and listen. This is one of the worst dinning experiences I have ever had anywhere. As a chef and former kitchen manager and server I would never have allowed a customer to...
