The food is good - It's a corporate giant, it's all fairly consistent. When people stop and take time to notice the atmosphere around here, they'll see the sense of friendliness and community that exists with the lady who works at the counter here in the morning (Who I see most frequently). Every time I go here early on in the morning, I can hear happy shouts of good morning between the owners and the customers (I am sure there are at least a few regulars, but seeming strangers are treated as lifelong friends too). No matter how long I have been away, I feel as though I am valued and that the owners are happy to see me back! Through the chat and the jokes (As well as meeting many new people waiting shortly), my food has always come back fresh, hot, and with good preparation (I usually get the plated breakfast). So i’m sitting here writing this review with my girlfriend directly in front of this so called “restaurant”. First point deductions came after they made us repeat our order 7 times. Girlfriend is getting angry so i had to take control of the situation and practically yell to get my order right. Second point deductions came when our food came out in the most sloppy display I’ve ever encountered in all my fast food experience. Chicken wrap, was let’s say... anything but wrapped... and my burger looked like two old pieces of bread they found in the back, and all that held those floppy things together was an even more floppy paddy paired with way too much ketchup and mustard. The food is okay, but the portions are small and the prices are absolutely insane. $26 for 3 chicken strips, onion rings and a burger. The worst part of this location is the staff. Extremely rude and unfriendly lady running the till. I asked for a an additional dipping sauce as the onion rings comes with nothing and they're already quite dry as is. She charged me $0.26. She also held the sauce hostage until the tap went through as if I were some sort of sauce thief!
