On September 23rd, I placed an order for a veggie sandwich from your menu, a choice I have consistently enjoyed in the past. However, my dining experience took a turn for the worse when I discovered a small piece of rock within my sandwich. This discovery was not only deeply unpleasant but also raised significant concerns regarding food safety. Promptly, I brought this issue to the attention of the cashier, who handled the situation professionally and kindly suggested a refund. To my surprise, another staff member was called to process the refund, and their attitude towards me was quite rude. Feeling unsatisfied with this treatment, I requested to speak with the manager on duty, LORY. Unfortunately, my interaction with LORY left much to be desired. Not only did she exhibit rudeness and indifference towards my concerns, but she also failed to provide a satisfactory resolution to this problem. Her dismissive attitude and unwillingness to accept responsibility for this incident have left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the safety of the food served at ITALIAN CENTER SHOP. As a loyal customer, I firmly believe that maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety is crucial. Discovering a foreign object in my meal was not only unsettling but also raised questions about the overall hygiene and safety practices in place at your establishment. On behalf of my friends and family including me, I would like the owner, managers and supervisors of this location to know your two stores in the city are providing excellent grocery, bakery, dairy, meat, other produce including your cafeteria services. I am a long term loyal customers of your store. I heard from many regular shoppers including me, very good customer service from all your cashiers, bakery staff, merchandise, deli, grocery meat departments we have been receiving quality service, your security is your bonus. security does work very well. Please note I heard from my family, friends including myself have been receiving excellent customer service from "MADI". She is polite, very knowledgeable of all products , ready to help, cares about all including seniors. She listens well, walks with you to the shelf to show the item you need, she is an asset to your store. All girls in the bakery and coffee shop are walking extra miles and giving excellent service. Keep up with your good management skills by being very caring of your staff. I recommend new immigrants to Edmonton, it is worth your time to shop at both Intalian centres, prices are reasonable, service is excellent, parking is easy. Oh, I love visiting the Italian Centre. I am sorry for this being so long 😶‍🌫️ Their deli is absolutely amazing with sooooo much variety for meats and cheese. The customers are served based on the number/ticket from the slot that is displayed throughout the store while shopping in other aisles if away from the station. The staff working at the Deli to assist are friendly and happy to offer help in answering any questions and offering samples if requested. The bakery is unmatched with so much variety of baked goods including the cakes, cream horns, custard and cream cheese danishes, various pastries. The pizza in the Cafe is freshly made in a wood fire oven and is so delicious with a large portion to share. There's also a varying assortment of pasta, olive oil and sauces to choose from with aisles dedicated for these categories. The store also has some delectable snacks from other countries that are a nice surprise and can be addictive lol. We stopped in to stock up on some more pasta and sauce favorites and also grabbed some some additional drinks and snacks.
