I go to this location very often & one of the employees were very rude to me today. I asked for a scoop in a cup & when I was about to leave after paying (handed over four dollars, didn't bother to ask how much it was & check how much change I got), I noticed that it's not the normal portion. I went to the gentleman in the cashier (not the employee who did the ice cream for me) & asked if it was a scoop thinking may be size of the portion has been changed. He told me that it's a bit less than a half scoop & offered to change it for me when I told him that I wanted a full scoop. The lady who got it done for me walked over to us & asked what the matter was. When the gentleman explained to her that I wanted a full scoop, she shook her head, grabbed my cup, added more Ice cream to it & handed over to me. I apologized saying "I might not have been clear enough or you might not have heard me properly, how much do I owe you?" She didn't even have the decency to look me in the face when she said "Just leave it, I don't have the time to deal with this" & walking away. I was speechless & I'm sure the gentleman who offered to help me was too, since he was watching the whole exchange. I felt so uncomfortable having to go through something like that in the presence of other customers. She acted as if I asked extra for free. Anyhow I handed two dollars to the baffled gentleman & asked him to let her know that I was not there to take her attitude or free Ice cream. He tried to give it back to me but I refused. I'm very disappointed as a regular customer & thought I should do something about it before another person goes through the same...

The girl working there saw us and quickly finished helping the customer she was with. But when it came time, she would not let me in. She didn’t like my mask. I cannot for medical reasons wear a regular mask, so I wear a small plastic shield that covers my mouth and nose. I didn’t try to get in with no mask but she refused me entry, she wanted me to prove to her, with a medical note that I could not wear the paper mask she was offering me! She is no allowed to ask for that! Again I wasn’t trying to get in without a mask but she didn’t like my mask, so she refused me entry. Staff were very rude in saying we only allow testing 1 flavour. I asked for the manager or some other staff coz it doesn’t make any sense as it’s pretty common to mix 2 flavours. Another staff was called and she was even more rude is saying Purdy's policy is 1 flavour tasting per person. The way this msg was delivered was very rude.
