I'm surprised that the latest reviews are 5 stars. I was here days ago, probably last weekend (end of January). Felt hungry and bored about ideas of any other restaurants in downtown. So I came here, where I always drive by but never came in. I ordered an omelet with 2 wheat toasts and shredded harsh brown. Honestly speaking, there were quite groups of people there and I realized that my order would take longer, which would be understandable. However, the food was lukewarm when served. regardless of the taste or the service, I don't understand that how come the food was lukewarm if there are so many patrons dinning in. That was NOT OK! Basically when I was in line to pay my check, there was a guy cut the line, but nobody said anything. quite disappointed to this place, however I know these customers treat this place like home and feel comfortable. but for people who don't come regularly, this place should make them feel welcomed. Unfortunately, they pushed some...

Albert’s is my weekly go to. I make a point of getting take out or sitting in the restaurant at least once a week. I usually order the exact same thing every time because I can count on it. The food is always delicious and comforting and I can always count on the staff to make me feel welcome. The ladies who work here make me feel like family every time I go. To me, there’s no better feeling than going to your favourite restaurant and the staff greet you with such kindness and care and you feel like you belong every time you eat there or even take it home with you. If you want delicious comfort food served with love, this is definitely the place to go. I’m an Albert’s lifer and I’m proud of it. P.S. The soups are all amazing and I highly recommend the Clubhouse Sandwich. It’s nothing fancy, just a traditional old school Clubhouse but it is my absolute favourite meal because it is delicious every...

This place is phenomenal. I'm in a friend group of about 8 young professionals who all live in the area. Even with options like Tiramisu, OEB, and other really great breakfast places, Alberts is where we keep returning to and the only one we frequent.

The food is amazing value, the decor is rustic diner, and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. They may not know our names, but they know us. Even if we're with other friends throwing around places to meet up, Alberts is a regular go-to suggestion.

If you want off the breakfast menu, their bacon cheeseburger is top-notch. Absolutely destroys anything I've had from Woodshed. The critique is there weren't quite enough fries for my liking... though that only saves me from myself so kind of a bonus that...

The quintessential diner. Nothing fancy. Lots of diner style options. They were really good about accommodating my special order. Portion sizes were average to large. Service was friendly and efficient. Food tasted better than it looked. The decor is simple and diner like- that being said it is comfortable and I stayed and chatted for 1.5 hours. Prices were reasonable. Refills on drinks frequent. We chose the spot for convenience. I wouldn't make a special trip but it was a good spot.

Definitely a place to go neither family, friends or a situation that requires good access with loads of room for walking before the lovely booths and staff. You can see Dustin in the back kitchen (his natural habitat) who I asked for my steak at the chef's choice of medium rare and it was amazing, large potions, kids and Senior's menu.

We went in for breakfast early in the morning. Server was polite and very friendly. Food was hot, fresh and cooked properly. Great little old school breakfast diner. Some updates could be done to the decor to spruce it up, but the place was clean. COVID measures were properly taken and masks were worn by staff.
