So happy to finally make my way here. It's been 3 years since we've been to Hawaii and had a serious craving for poke and other poke shops in Edmonton just didn't cut it. It's almost criminal how bad the poke scene is in Edmonton but thankfully Aloha is here to save us from accepting mediocre poke.

Service here was great, staff are friendly and you can tell they have a passion for their food. Our guy helped us patiently while we curated our meal as we wanted it to take us back to Hawaii.

My poke bowl was delicious, with generous servings of rice and tuna. This is the best I've eaten in Edmonton. Several variations are available in tuna and salmon and it was the toughest decision I've had to make. It must have felt like a lifetime for the poor guy waiting to take my order and the anxiety started to kick in and I blindly ordered a random flavour to which I completely forgot what it was. I kid you not, it was tougher than showing up for my first prostate examination. Whatever the flavour was, it was like being back in Waikiki and all was right in the world.

My wife ordered the Loco Moco and it was a glorious mess of rice, ground beef patties, fried eggs, gravy and a side of Hawaiian mac salad. It reminded me of a Hawaiian style salisbury steak on crack. This was a huge entree and we couldn't possibly finish it and had to take the leftovers home.

Surprising star of the meal was the humble musubi. We decided to try the upgraded version and ordered it deep-fried. Wrapped in nori, coated in panko, deep-fried then drizzled in a spicy mayo, it was like taking an umami filled nuke packet straight into the carotid artery. The crunchy exterior mixed with the chewy rice and tender spam, it was a journey of textures. This was probably the most amazing thing we've eaten in recent memory and if Aloha ever stops serving these, there will be riots.

I would highly recommend trying Aloha out. The poke and musubi alone are worth...

If you're considering this place, stop and just go. Went here for lunch with my family, oh my lord what a decision. I'm a sushi guy, I love me some poke and rice, and this place is one of the best places in Edmonton for such dishes. I had the poke burrito, it was a giant sushi roll essential, served with wonton chips, and it was the happiest I have ever been eating at a restaurant. Very reasonably priced, the poke is fresh everyday and you can sample the different flavors they offer. I had the crunchy garlic poke and it was heaven. Silky smooth, slightly sweet, just the right amount of garlic. The whole restaurant has an intoxicating smell, once you step in, it wraps itself around you and immediately gets you hooked. The other dishes my family ordered were drool worthy, too. The pork belly and cashew chicken looked like a dish right out of a high end restaurant. If I could give an additional 5 stars to this review, I'd do it in a heart beat. I will most certainly...

Ordered take out for lunch. Was excited to check out same because we are big fans of Hawaiian food, especially poke. Was greeted at the door and received welcoming and great service. Ordered the salmon California poke bowl and the salmon crunch garlic poke bowl with wonton chips, the spicy mayo crunchy musubi and Huli huli chicken. Whoa!! The California poke bowl took me and my husband back to Hawaii, tasted like the one we bought at FoodLand (Hawaiian supermarket) almost everyday on vacation. Delicious!!! Also wanted to note the pineapple sauce that comes with the Huli huli chicken is divine!!! It had divine pineapple essence!!! I wish they sold that in a bottle. Yum!!! This definitely will be my go to Hawaiian food...
