Read moreI was asked if I wanted to pay 15 cents for a bag. What?! I said, "No! I'm not playing that game. Just hand it to me."
Bags were always factored into the price before the City of Edmonton chose to be morons and impose that embarrassing requirement. Nonetheless, I was given a bag. I thought, "Oh... Okay." And, I was sorry she felt pressured to give one to me. However, when I got home, I looked at the receipt. I WAS CHARGED FOR THE BAG ANYWAY!
Two things: There should be an English proficiency test for workers that interface with the public. When will Corporate Canada stand up against idiotic interference from politicians?! And, when will we, both Canadians and Edmontonians, stand up against this Tom Foolery?!
Let this be the first effort on my part. After patronizing Arbys for over 30 years, I will no longer buy anything from Arbys until they stop cowering or willingly participating in such stupidity.
I'm encouraging everyone to stop going to any place that won't give you a bag.
Here's the kicker. Single serve bags are single serve, whether they give (no such thing) them to you or you pay for them. It's all smoke and mirrors. A...
Read moreLast Friday around 11:40 am, I went to buy two separates order for our Residents. The lady who helped I think her name was Meleema was very, very, very rude and arrogant. I told her that I have the list with me and I have to read it to her. She made me look stupid by asking me about my order and pointing on the menu many times. Since it's my first time at Arby's and I told her that, she remained rude. I really got frustrated as I expect her to be more kind and patient. She was argumentative and loud so in return I have to be loud too. Customers heard our arguments and she didn't care. She continued to be rude. When I asked for the manager she said that I can talk to the manager if I wish and that she's been working with Arby's for a long, long time. After an hour, I called Arby's and spoke to the Lady Manager. She told me to call on Monday and speak to Rob. I decided not to bother and instead write this review. I will never ever go to any Arby's especially that location and I will inform my family, friends, Co workers and anyone I know not to go to that location. That lady from India is very...
