1.These three people ( father, mother and their daughter who is full of attitude!!!!) are stealing money from the customers by charging extra money for the sauces and giving a very less quantity of meat. Even after charging extra money for the sauce, the owner didn’t put extra sauce by himself, I had to ask him to put extra sauce and then he gave me an excuse that I’m giving you the sauce on side when he realized that he didn’t put extra. I said you didn’t ask me how I want the extra sauce. During this covid-19 period, his daughter was having nail extensions and it is not acceptable in food stores!!!! Again, the owner’s daughter and his wife were not wearing masks when working inside the kitchen and the owner’s mask was under his nose while preparing my order. They were rude. They lack customer service skills. They don’t care if they are losing the customers. All they care about is charging...

I had high expectations for Basha Donair based on recommendations from several people who claimed this location was the best. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I visited on the weekend and encountered unhelpful service from the female staff. When I asked for extra sauce on my donair, the server acted like it was a major inconvenience, as if it was coming out of her own pocket. I also purchased a large donair and a pop, and it would have been nice if they had offered me the combo that included fries for nearly the same price. We were fortunate enough to meet the franchisor of this brand new location. What a great story of persistence and belief in oneself! He is a local Thomas the Engine in Edmonton who will not be defeated by Covid19!

He used to work as a manager for another chain and decided to take his 20 years of experience and start helping franchisees make their dreams come true.

This location went through delay after delay due to Covid19. It is open and was well worth the wait.

It is sleek and clean here and the food portions are huge and delicious! People in Edmonton need to get out and support this local business hero. This is the latest location but they have 8 more in Edmonton and one in Kelowna too.
