Been here many times and usually have great service. Great range of beers, usually good customer service and lovely atmosphere. However today we felt a bit let down. We went for lunch, drove miles out of our way to try their pizza. First they didn't have the meat one that my husband wanted so we decided to share a Margherita. When we ordered we were told there was no basil...we almost didn't order but as we had traveled too far, we're hungry and the meat one wasn't available we decided to go for it. However, as can be seen from the picture it was more like plain tomato sauce on the base as there was hardly any cheese! The base was excellent but it really needed more cheese for flavour especially as there was no basil! We were never asked how our meal was tasting so just left thinking...well won't get pizza again there! Also I got a beer on nitro. It is difficult to pour so I totally understand that it takes a while to settle. Usually the brewery will hold it to one side for it to settle and then continue to fill. However, I was given a nitro beer with huge head which when settled meant I got much less than the volume that I ordered and paid for. Overall I usually love this place but felt really let down...
Read moreSooooo yummy! We had the babas pizza, the parson's daughter sandwich and a cinnamon bun and of course some beer-erages. The creamy dill sauce drizzled on our pizza was sooooo good. Like lick it off the pizza good! The pizza crust and bread for our sandwich was crafted from the hops from the beer making process. It showed!!!!!! Soooooo incredibly good! You just can't buy this anywhere because it's scrumptious old fashioned goodness!!! The sandwich was loaded with fresh basil leaves and lovely roasted turkey which complemented the rich, home made fresh bread! Spot on! Seriously the cinnamon bun was as good as the ones I make from scratch! Mine take hours of work, tons of butter and brown sugar, these are the same!! No icing needed! They were fresh and delicious. I don't like beer but I tried my husband's White wedding white pastry stout beer and promptly stole it. It tasted exactly like drinking a hot, strong coffee with a freshly baked chocolate croissant in the sunshine in the south of France. I'll definitely go back just for this beer!!! And I repeat, I don't like beer. Our server, Sammy and our chef Rebekah were fun, helpful and...
Read moreWe love the beer and food here a lot, and have always regarded Town Square as our favourite Edmonton brewery. However, my boyfriend and I placed a pretty large order for delivery recently, and despite having good experiences doing so in the past this time was absolutely horrible.
In the past we’ve had confirmation about what day and roughly what time the order would arrive which allowed us to be prepared, watching our phones etc. This time we were given less than 5min notice by text on the day of and missed the drop off.
Although they continue delivering all over the city through the week the brewery refused to put the order in with another delivery. This was the most frustrating part as they seemed really apathetic about the whole experience and didn’t want to work together on a solution, despite our apologies and attempts to work something out.
Now we have to drive 30min to the brewery as we’ve already paid for the order. Extra not fun because I had wisdom tooth surgery yesterday. Really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend ordering with them...
