This was our first visit to this restaurant. We arrived at 6:00 PM and the place was not very full and we were attended by a very friendly server almost immediately. We ordered one plain dosa, two masala dosa, one chicken tikka dosa, one chicken biriyani, and one prawn coconut curry. I specifically requested the server to hold on to the biriyani and prawn until we finish the dosas. Food came in fairly in time. A different server brought our food and she brought all items at the same time including the biriyani and prawn. I then requested to take the biriyani and prawn back to the kitchen because there was no place on our table to keep them. Also they will get cold. She did take them back to the kitchen and brought them back upon our request later. By that time, both items were cold! Over all, dosas were good but there was very little portion of potato filling in the masala dosas. Chicken tikka dosa was good. We were quite disappointed with the prawn curry though. It felt like the prawn were cooked in chettinad sauce and there was no hint of coconut milk. They might change the name of the dish.
I understand it is a new establishment and the place looked fairly clean but the management should put more attention toward the customers' request. We will return and will try out some of their...
Read moreWe heard about this earlier but didn't get a chance to check it out. So we were near lby and decided to go for it. Our first impressions were that it was a typical Indian restaurant, nothing spectacular. The server was quick to take our orders. She was polite and welcoming. The food arrived but one at a time. I received my food and had to wait for another five minutes for my wife's food before we could start eating. Most restaurants try to serve food to all in the group at the same time so that all can start eating at the same time. Anyway, the food was good not great. The dosa lacked a bit of salt and the salted lassi was ok. Nothing much to complain about but things can be improved. The chettinad chicken stuffing in the dosa didn't taste like any chettinad chicken I have had before. There was a serious lack of spices according to Indian standards. Nevertheless, you can definitely try this place if you are close by. Maybe they will improve as they receive feedback from...

Let's talk about food first - I can vouch that all my frequent orders of Rasam, Curry Leaf Chicken Fry (super spicy) and Biriyani have been top notch, every single time. Even the infrequent items I order have almost always been amazing, except the kotthu, which I did not quite like the one time I ordered it.
Always get exceptional service from the entire staff. The serving staff, specially the girl from Delhi, have always gone above and beyond. Humble owners, humble kitchen staff and a great front end staff make this one of my favorites in town.
I have been a frequent visitor ever since they opened and the one thing I give to them is they have been very careful maintaining the quality and standards they have set from Day 1. This is not usually the case with other South Asian food joints.
Thank you for the great food you serve, Annam! They make it to my super rare, highly recommended...
