Wow! I don’t think service could get any worse. They will treat you disrespectfully and then find a way to BLAME you, because, according to them, it’s your fault they don’t know how to give good service.
I have driven for Skip for 5 years. This is the ONLY restaurant in the entire city that will outright REFUSE to write your order number on the bags/pizza boxes. Normally this would not matter. However, skip sometimes sends us double orders. We can’t decline them (or we get paid less) and we can’t decline one out of the two (it automatically declines both). So we are forced into accepting.
So now I’m taking TWO separate orders with me, and I have to magically remember which is which. Even with two bags, they could get mixed up, or switched. I can’t double check, because the restaurant refuses to write the skip order number down for us.
When I asked about why they didn’t write the order number I was met with an extremely rude, “well we need to write our service numbers!” Okay, so, why can’t you write both? How do YOU even remember which order is which (for handing to the Skip drivers)? Then I was told to write the numbers myself. Okay. Fine. I asked to borrow a marker and they said they didn’t have one. Which is an obvious lie, because they used one to write numbers on all the bags that were not the Skip order number.
Honestly, as if we don’t already have enough to do. Risk our lives (hello Edmonton drivers), work in rain, cold, snow, watch the maps, and carry sometimes very heavy bags.
This Boston pizza wants me to carry two bags, plus my phone, and a marker, and somehow still be able to open the doors. I could leave the marker in the car, and forget in the way out….I suppose.
How many people do you know that can remember different 4 digit numbers that are always changing all day long?
In comparison, the last Boston Pizza I delivered for, printed me extra receipts with the order numbers on in. Just in case. Just to be nice. Go there instead. That one is good! 23 Ave. NOT 22 Ave.
It’s just completely unacceptable. How lazy are you you can’t right down a simple number to help us drivers out?!? You don’t even know the half of what we deal with. I guess I need to make sure I carry a marker with me for the only restaurant in the city that can’t do it for you.
If you’re order is ever the wrong order, please blame THIS restaurant. Not...
Read moreWe came here as a table of 7. 6 adults and 1 kid. We went on a Saturday at 4pm after dress fittings. We got seated at a 6 person table and added a chair. Okay we will get over it. Even though it’s dead.
We then had 3 adults order drinks. And the other 4 didn’t know what they wanted yet. So they took the order. When they brought the drinks back they took the rest of our drink order. And 2 people ordered appetizers.
Then they came back and took the food order.
The appetizers then came out. And 3 people ordered more drinks.
Then the 3 people drinks came out. Guess what hasn’t showed up yet. The 4 people’s drinks that’s order long time ago. And one of those people was a kid!
They then apologized and said they will get them right away. 30 mins after they were ordered they come out. And they are not made right. At the same time all the food comes. Which was not good at all. It tastes like it sat under the heater lamps for awhile. (We mainly ordered appetizers to share because they were buy 2 get one free)
We then asked to speak to a manager. And she came over and said don’t worry about the drinks that took 30 mins we will compliment those.
Well here comes the bills. One person asked for hers cause she had to leave. So the waitress went to get it (so we thought) she then walks by and the rest of us ask for our bills. Well our bills come out. But she doesn’t bring the first persons bill!! And she asked 5mins before we did. We then look at our bills and guess what. All the drinks are still on the bills. And to top it off they tried to charge us full price for all the appetizers!
Out of all the Boston Pizzas this is by far the worst I have been to and I would stay clear!
It will ruin a fun night out. We ended up going to Moxies for a few drinks after to try to salvage the night. And it was amazing! We should have just went there to begin with. It was night and...
Read moreWe went as a family of three for dining at dinner time at Edmonton South common location. When we went there Tuesday Dec 27th around 8.10 pm it was super busy then v waited 2 min at the waiting area for getting the table then some one show up then we got the table then one of the server came there and she is busy she will be with us to take our order then in the meantime the manager Omer showed up and took our order , when we received our order after one piece eat v realize it’s not the same order we did , then he came to the table then we told him we order Mediterranean pizza instead of veg pizza then he said no u order veg pizza , we said v order Mediterranean pizza then he ask server to change the order , till this all was ok , but in 2 min server came back then ask to remove wrong order veg pizza from the table then v said ok , then v waited some time to get our right Mediterranean pizza .at the time v were paying v paid bill of $ 101 including tips of 13.15 . We told the server that the manager thought v made a story to replace the pizza but it was true that that manager Omer took our order and did not repeat what v order and went to order from the desktop without confirming our order . So bottom line is Omer manager was so unprofessional and rude with us and he took us for granted as an Asian family and behaved rude with us instead of saying sorry for hearing our order wrong and giving wrong order at the table. So Mr Omer please take each guest as same instead of judging clients on base of their community they belong. We all are Canadian who has same rights of receiving same respect at the restaurant and community. We never recommend To go at this location . Mr Omer you are ruining Boston...
