We tried the chole bhature and plain dosa. The chole bhature were decent. The dosa was good too. But the service was pathetic and downright not acceptable. The restaurant was understaffed. The service was very slow. The guy servicing was the one cooking it felt like. And there were only 2 guys in total serving, cleaning, billing, cooking etc. biggest issue i saw was management, no matter how good the food is, if the staff is arguing continuously in front of customers, there is no way you can enjoy your meal .. especially with people cribbing about each other not doing their job well.. it just ruined the whole meal for us.
Another thing was hygiene based, so they don’t have a washroom for customers in the restaurant.. there is one shared restroom that you can ask keys for, which is ok. But they have a hand wash sink just beside the billing counter and people have to go behind the counter and wash hands at the billing counter.. I didnt understand who designed this whole this… overall very...
Read moreFound this absolute gem for Indian cuisine while walking home. With most Indian places, I'll usually order samosas, and if I like them, I'll come back the next day for a full meal. Their samosas were incredibly fresh, delicious, and came with a few sauces, so the next day I came back, and I'm so glad I did.
The owner, Robin, was super helpful, open and friendly. He recommended the chicken vindaloo, and one of the servers recommended the chole bhature. What's a chole bhature, you ask? Well, it's a deep fried flatbread that comes out like two big pillows. They're hollow inside, band you rip off strips and fill with chilies, aloo(potato), chickpeas and onion. The bread is light and crispy, and the fillings are packed full of flavor.
The chicken vindaloo is the best I've ever had whatever blend of curious and spices they're using, it works. I was soooo happy eating it with garlic naan.

While it wasn't busy in the store the takeout (uber eats, skip, etc) was steady.
The Paneer Butter Masala was super creamy and exactly what I needed. Garlic naan, plain naan also great flavor but could be a bit more fluffy but that's probably not their style.
The paneer dosa was good but a little too spicy for the kids, but that's okay cause I loved it. Definitely going to be trying the plain dosa cause I know my kids will love it.
They also have a very generous serving of fries for like $5 for those with kids who are adventurous but only for a few bites.
Lastly the mango lassi was excellent! Kids loved it and I almost lost an arm trying to sample it.
If you're not already on your way or ordering now... Just go and thank me later! If you go in person they have some great music videos playing too.
Sorry the food was too good and I was too...
