Fatburger Westlink — Restaurant in Edmonton

We had high hopes for this place. I looked all over the area for a fat burger with good reviews. We seen this place had over 4.1 stars so we thought we would try it. There was 4 of us. My wife and I and our two kids. It took about 15 mins to get our order in. We had to keep repeating what we wanted. He repeated the order to me 5 times just to be sure he had it right. I wasn’t concerned to much about the price but $98.76 for two burgers, two fries, two drinks and 2 orders of wings was a bit much. Anyway…. Our order comes out one thing at a time A fry. One burger. Another fry. One wings. It’s was brutal. By the end of it they forgot to make my wife’s wings ! And by the pictures I posted you can see , after we were all done eating this is what she got. Great quality and freshly made to order burgers. Ate a Doubleking burger that was huge and really filled me up. Only problem I had which may have been a miscommunication was ordering 2 kids meals. One for my daughter and one for my wife. My wife isn't a big eater so a kids burger and fries would have been perfect. Employee said that we could only order one kids meal and my wife would need to order the next size up in burger. It was perhaps only slightly bigger than a kids burger but came at a $5 increase in price. Again, I'm sure this must have been a slight miscommunication and we plan to return. If you have never gone to Fatburger. Try it. The Chicken Tenders are amazing. Hand made on site and freshly cooked when ordered. A small is more than enough for 1 person. The next size up is a shareable between 2 people. I am a true burger guy and always on the lookout for the next best burger. It’s cooked fresh as well. The buns are soft and moist. You get to pick your toppings, so have as many or few as you want. This is a true consistent staple of good food. And I have yet to be disappointed. 1 drink and 1 burger was $14.00 I always choose no fries. But I am for sure full and not feeling like I am leaving on an empty stomach.
