Amex not accepted. They have an open kitchen, and you can see the noodle making. The way the chef flips and twists the noodle in the air is fascinating. The beef noodle soup 牛肉面 with thin noodles was authentic enough (could have more cilantro and some hot pepper oil), and it was better than the house noodle soup with beef brisket 红烧牛腩面. The portion of meat for the side dish spiced chicken with chilly sauce 椒麻鸡 is huge. It is not too hot, but it has lots of peppercorn. If you are not used to Chinese spicy food, this might be a bit too spicy for you. I would have preferred less peppercorns and more chilly oil to make the chicken less dry.

The beef pancake rolls 牛肉卷饼 were a bit underwhelming. It is more similar to burritos than Chinese beef rolls. I gave 3 stars on service because ymthe food took a long time and service was slow due to understaffing. I don't blame the staff. This is probably the owner's decision to not not hire another worker. It is a 2-person operation with 1 chef and 1 waitress. The waitress was doing her best to get things done quickly, but she just didn't have enough time to take care of 5 tables and 3 takeout orders while helping out in the kitchen. We had to get the beef pancake rolls to go because it took too long.

I would definitely come back to try the...

Overall really nice and pretty authentic. We tried the cucumber salad, tofu noodle salad, and the kelp salad. All three salads were delicious and very authentic. We also had the spicy chicken which tasted good but none of us liked that it was served cold. We know that it's supposed to be cold but would definitely taste better if served hot.

For the noodles we had the pork and soybean one of them with the round noodles and another with the flat noodles. The flat noodles are definitely much better since we found the round ones a bit too crunchy. The pork meat sauce was actually very good but there's simply not enough of it compared to Noodle Feast and Tang Bistro. If they had a larger portion of it I think it would be 5 star but the lack of the meat sauce brings it down.

We also had the beef noodle soup which was good. The broth was quite nice and the same as before the flat noodles were much better. We almost didn't get to try them since the waitress said they were too busy to give the flat noodles but she checked with the kitchen and they said ok so it's worth noting that you might not be able...

We showed up for lunch with high expectations. Prior to opening, the staff were taking measures to clean and sanitize the dining space which was encouraging.

Once we got in, we ordered the signature beef with thin-flat noodles and spicy chicken with thin-round noodle dishes. As we waited (nearly 30 minutes) I couldn't help but to notice they were batch pre-cooking noodles. This concerned me as these noodles should be cooked to order to ensure optimal texture and flavor.

When our food arrived the noodles where soft, not what was requested, and the broth was shockingly bland. Terribly disappointing considering we had high hopes for the meal. The waiter did offer to replace our meals with new dishes, but we didn't have time to wait.

I hope they can iron out these issues, but at this point we have no...

Expect good soup and noodles here, receive exactly that. The noodles were pulled to order, we could see through the window and watch as the order was put through. I ordered the house special beef noodle soup with no extra spicy chili/oil, and it was a very well-seasoned, delicate broth, with a large amount of noodles, almost a dozen slices of beef and some daikon radish. I really enjoyed it and was blown away by just how much you get and I only ordered medium! Cucumber and potato salads were great as well. Once again, delicate and balanced and a great accompaniment to the soup. Will definitely come back here and definitely recommend for those looking for something other that pho or Japanese ramen but just as tasty.
