Heard a lot about Remedy and wanted to give it a try, i was there later in the day due to which didn't face any issues with parking but due to the Café being at a busy block, please beware about extra time being spent on that. Moving on to the most important aspect, Food, i had Masala chai(3% Milk), Kashmiri Chai(3% Milk) and Samosas, i hold high standards for chai, i personally would have preferred the chai to be stronger as that's the way i like it, you can taste and smell all the spices this chai was induced in which is great, another good thing about this chai was that it's creamy and frothy, considering this all, i will rate the masala chai 3.5/5, kashmiri chai had lots of pistachios which might be bothersome to certain people but i don't mind that due to which i will rate it 4/5, Samosas here are a great snack not greasy like a lot of ther places, they were crunchy and the filling was quite generous, though the size of the samosa was small they still hold a higher rank in my books, i will rate it 4/5. The ambience of this place is great, it's a quiet place and the staff is friendly. Definitely will visit this café next time I'm around.

Remedy is always a pleasure to pick as a meeting spot to catch up with friends, or a place to visit solo when you need to get some work done over a hot drink of Chai or a latte. I've always loved their London fogs but this time I saw a new menu item--blue matcha. It's a matcha latte made with butterfly pea tea which naturally has a blue pigment. It was pretty to look at but honestly didn't taste like matcha. I felt like I was just drinking a sweet tea latte. Still cozy and enjoyable but definitely didn't satisfy the matcha crave. I'll probably stick to the London fogs & chais. I always love their butter chicken wraps. I tried the chicken chana wrap this time for a change. I added hummus by mistake (chana already means it has chickpeas so hummus is just even more chickpeas) and it became way too fibrous and filling. Tasty, but very dense. Will probably stick to butter chicken wraps--they never disappoint!

TLDR: great atmosphere, pricy decent food, passable chai. This location is gorgeous. It isn't too loud, the music isn't blaring, and there's plenty of seating. The food was adequate. Our butter paneer was plentiful with lots of paneer chunks, but there was so little naan we could barely dent the dish. For the price it could have easily included more naan, which was also nothing to write home about. The samosas were good and I would order them again. The chai was surprisingly underwhelming considering the slogan "be spicy drink chai" is on most signs and mugs. It was very sweet and not very spicy. Last the staff seemed very overwhelmed. The cashier wondered away and began conversations with their coworker multiple times after they began taking our order. It was all store maintenance, breaks, and shifts, but it was very chaotic and lead to us repeating our order multiple times.

While the service and atmosphere were undeniably pleasant, I cannot overlook the disappointing food quality that ultimately made me feel unwell. First, the positives: The cafe had a cozy and inviting ambiance. It was a delightful place to unwind, with comfortable seating, soft lighting, and soothing background music. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our needs were met throughout our visit. However, the same praise cannot be extended to the food. While the menu looked promising, the dishes we ordered did not live up to expectations. The food was lackluster in both presentation and taste. Some items seemed undercooked, while others were overly greasy. Sadly, this poor food quality resulted in an unpleasant experience, as it made me feel sick shortly after the meal. It's disheartening when a cafe with so much potential falls short in such a crucial aspect as food quality. I hope they take steps to improve this aspect of their establishment because the service and atmosphere are definitely worth celebrating. Until then, I'd recommend this cafe solely for a coffee or tea, and perhaps skip the food offerings altogether to avoid the discomfort that I experienced. and inviting ambiance. I am a frequent customer of Remedy, as I'm sure most university students are, and I was really looking forward to seeing the new location. And trust me, it is stunning. It's an absolutely beautiful building that keeps the classic Remedy atmosphere. It has a lot more comprehensive menu as it is laid out differently than the old ones, and has way more areas to sit and study. I was so excited to see the new location and I have no complaints about it (great food and drinks as usual), but the employees ruined this almost perfect experience for me. My friend went up to the counter to ask a question about a food item as not all the pastries are labelled, and 3 employees were huddled around the till talking with their backs to us. It just ruins the customer service experience when you, the customer, feel like you're interrupting someone's conversation. The girl who addressed us was short and rude with my friend, and when we paid she made no eye contact, didn't say thank you, and didn't offer a receipt. I just paid and slowly walked away with no further acknowledgment. It was incredibly uncomfortable. If you want to have a private conversation with coworkers, please at least try not to do it right at the till in front of patrons. We are your guests, we shouldn't be made to feel like intruders who have wandered into your conversation. You're on the clock, please do your job. I'm so frustrated the service ruined what was before an...
