This is, without a doubt, one of the worst hamburgers I have ever tasted in my life.
I chose the Swiss cheese burger, and I cannot emphasize enough how terrible the flavour of the meat was.
EDIT AFTER READING YOUR COMMENT:
I understand how my review may not have sit well with you, however after carefully reviewing my review (lol), there is nothing I would take back from it.
I would like to go into more detail this time around:
Service was excellent, we were taken care of and everything was explained to us as we entered the venue, being our first time they went into detail with the items of the menu we were interested in. 10/10 for me.
If we get to the food, I cannot lie, the mushroom swiss burger (1lb if I remember correctly) was one of the worst hamburgers I have ever had, and I have had a ton (as anybody else probably).
Now going into detail with the food:
Burger meat was very, very low quality, it was a grey color you rarely find in burgers unless it is about to expire. Meat was also not well mixed, after taking a bite you could see the ground meat strings, and the burger essentially disassembling due to this.
Flavor was off for many reasons:
The taste of the meat was off, as mentioned earlier, ground meat was poorly mixed and about to turn bad, I know the flavor of ground beef about to go bad, trust me, I eat A LOT of ground beef.
The mixed herbs simply did not work well with the mushrooms and cheese, I believe it was dill that was used to an excess that simply felt like a an attempt to cover the flavor of the meat. It did not work for me, some (preferably fresh) parsley with the mushrooms could easily elevate the dish.
Buns did not meet expectations for a burger of that price, I can understand cutting corners when working with a budget burger (and this are not budget burgers), but even then, buns could get some love in the form of being grilled on the inside at the very least, bread was not good and nothing was done to make it better, which in my opinion is plain lazy.
I hope this helps improving things, I would likely go back to see that these issues have been addressed, I believe it is in everybody's...

Located conveniently across from Grant MacEwan University, Marcos Famous offers a promising deal with its student discount on combos. Upon entering, the bright fluorescent lighting and stainless steel fixtures set a casual tone, complemented by ample seating despite its cozy size. The service was good and the workers were friendly enough. However, my overall experience fell short of expectations.
Opting for the mushroom Swiss burger, I was immediately put off by the texture of the ground beef, which resembled something straight out of the grinder. The off-putting appearance translated into an unpleasant eating experience, overshadowing any potential flavor. The strong dill mushroom sauce further muddled the taste, overpowering the delicate Swiss cheese and mushrooms.
Although the bun showed promise with its everything bagel seasoning, it couldn't salvage the disappointing patty. On the bright side, the homestyle fries were a saving grace, boasting a delightful crispy exterior and tender interior, albeit served with limited beverage options – canned pop only.
My spouse encountered similar disappointment with the Dorito burger, describing the patty as resembling brains due to its unappealing texture. While he found solace in the poutine, I found the gravy sauce puzzling, unable to pinpoint its flavor.
Despite my spouse's enjoyment of the poutine, the subpar burger experience overshadowed any redeeming qualities. Regrettably, Marcos Famous failed to meet our expectations, leaving us with no desire to return. For a burger joint, the focus should be on delivering a satisfying burger, an aspect sorely lacking in this establishment.
Overall Rating: 2/5

Read moreLet me start off saying I never thought after reading so many reviews I would be disappointed I decided to order delivery and when I got my food right away disgusted by the quality. All the food was gross and cold.
Lets start with the Donairs Overwhelming amount of sweet sauce and the horrible tin foil it was wrapped in which is weird. Got past the first couple bits to find hard as a rock donair meet. Now maybe it was just a few cook and crunchy pieces nope I began pulling my donair apart and the meat looked old like it had been sitting for a while. While feeling like I was chewing beef jerky. Actually made a sound dropping on my plate. So I thought ok maybe it was mine but as my partner bite into his… just as bad.
Now to the what I think was chicken strips They were old tasting and seemed weird as I got a closer look they looked old soaked in grease cold but there was weird burnt black parts. From what it look like it was cooked then again. It was like leather trying to bite one. And they looked like flat weird pieces. For it being pricey “fast “ food it was not good at all. How I’m confused as all the reviews are higher rating. Maybe it was a bad night or it was a later night. But when you have to throw out more then half the stuff… it just frustrating. I wish before my partner threw it all out. Hopefully others don’t get this food quality and maybe it was just a bad night but now out 50.00 dollars and I definitely would never each...
