We recently attended Rogers Place for the first time for a show and decided to take 7 family members out for dinner 2 hrs prior to event. We were told that it was a 40 min wait to get a table at the time which was long but decided to chance. We finally were seated as a group aprox 1 hr later. Our order was placed and ended up waiting another full hr to receive 6 out of the 7 meals ordered. Apparently (1) order was overlooked! The facility was only about 1/2 full at the time we received our brutally long wait. There were only 2 servers running around to handle the load and appears the kitchen staff is understaffed because meals were being delivered to tables on a singular basis while not only our table but many others sat and waited for extended periods for their dinners as well. Everyone looked disappointed upon leaving as I seen a few convey their displeasure to staff.
We did talk to the manager on duty and clearly conveyed our huge disappointment in the slow service. He really had little to say other than sorry and left it at that! He didn't even have the courtesy to look us in the eye even and brushed us off to talk to another staff member! Totally unacceptable!!!
This entire experience was the most disappointing service we have ever had! It was quite apparent this food venue is totally understaffed in both the kitchen as well as the floor for serving customers and is being managed poorly!! It's sad to see this type of restaurant given the opportunity to support customers at Rogers Place! Hard to believe after reading other reviews which I wish I would have done before going here that management has not proactively made positive changes to correct the service deficiency.

Read moreWe went to this place because we saw it on the list of restaurants to check out in Edmonton. We wanted to eat somewhere different. We checked the menu and it looked like it would work for our party of 8. We asked about the free casino parking and they said lot 404. This is not on any Impark lot map, and when you do find it, its not the whole lot, just 2 rows. When we got there at 6 it was 1 hour wait, which was fine because there was a game at 830. When we finally got in and settled the waitress was rude, treated us like we were a nuisance, and was not helpful at all. We were very puzzled because we saw a huge menu online but they only gave us a game day menu. No one would explain it to us at first, nor did they tell us when we called that they would only be doing the game day menu. (we called to try and make a reso for my bday) Manager was a little unsure himself when we asked questions. The food itself was VERY good. We definitely enjoyed the food but I don't think we will be back. The server was unpleasant to deal with, and she took forever to get anything, and would forget what we needed, come back ask us again and forget. I received the wrong drink. Then when she went to refill waters she filled my friends cocktail with water so he couldn't drink the rest. Yes the restaurant was busy until the game, we completely understand that, but this was by far the worst service we have ever received. Even after it cleared out. We asked for our bill repetitively until we almost walked out. I should have listened to the reviews on google. Seems like they have had the same scenario as us. Good food poor service. Please work on training...
Read moreWent here for a birthday party that had their separate room reserved upstairs in the back. Not a huge fan that I had to walk through a casino just to get to the restaurant but was okay. I can say the place itself is clean and nice aesthetically however it really lacked customer service. I ordered two burgers (came with a small portion of fries) off the happy hour menu and overall I would give the food a 7/10. Portions were very tiny but a nice appetizer I would say. Taste was good and it came out relatively warm. Worst part was definitely the service which was lacking, I had to ask the waitress politely to bring napkins, utensils and ketchup to the table several times as none of this was provided when the food was brought out. She simply propped the food on the table and disappeared! Was never asked if I wanted a drink refill, and I basically had to hunt them down just to get some water. There was 2 waitresses assigned to the room of about 20 people but it seemed they were very busy by the bar chatting. The worst part was in the entire 3 and half hours I was there, no one ever came around to clear the tables. The entire time I was there I had to stare at the mess of empty plates and cups all over the table. Not very impressed as this is suppose to be a somewhat "higher end" place from what I was given the impression. I would not recommend coming here, also many items are severely overpriced and portions are small, quality just barely there. I would suggest taking your money elsewhere, to Joeys, Milestones, Browns or Cactus, overall for better menu options, much better service and better...
