McDonald's — Restaurant in Edmonton

I've had horrible experiences with the staff here. Management is extremely prejudice. Anyone "rough"or "dirty" looking are treated with disdain, myself included. I spent 160$ buying the local homeless burgers and drinks which should have been appreciated by the McDonald's as well. Instead the very next morning was completely ignored by staff as I stood waiting to order coffees. When I asked why they were doing so ( politely) I got the response " I don't got to serve you" and was refused service for no reason. So I sat down and proceeded to charge my phone anyway and promptly had very rude police escort me from the property ,saying they had the right to do so. More recently I was permanently banned from the place merely for associating with homeless and buying people coffees. They could give no reason for the ban at the time and was again refused service, cash in hand. This is going much too far. I'm polite amd and have never caused any issues here and neither have the homeless . They are 100% just being prejudice and quite honestly there has been absolutely no reason for these transgressions. I will be forever disappointed and dissatisfied with this result. Do. Not.eat. here. Homeless are people too. We have had dealt with worse lives than most could imagine. There are reasons behind every human out here and we fight demons and monsters, hunger and sleep deprivation, judgement a misplaced hatred every. single. day. just to live. There are always bad people and good, in any level of wealth in society. But to be quite honest , the best people end up living alone outside. We've seen what the worst life has to offer. We cannot let others feel the same hurt anger sadnes nor absolute loneliness we've endured. we will help any who need it. That's you kind of people you're judging and...

this is probably the worst location in Edmonton lol. i only go to this location because I live walking distance but every time I order from here the fries are old, the nuggets are hard as rocks and when I say every time I go... its EVERY time lol. I have yet to have something go wrong my big Mac's. The burgers have always been good. 2 months ago, I ordered 6 nuggets and asked for them to be fresh and the cashier said she would let the kitchen know. I get home and I go to eat one and they were hard and clearly should have been wasted. So maybe 3 weeks ago when I went, I didn't even bother adding nuggets to my order. My friend decided to try their donuts too... i don't know what was harder... the nuggets or the donuts lol. Mind you, I use to work for McDonald's for years so I know when the fries and nuggets should be wasted or if they're still in that 7 minute frame and are still good to eat. The nuggets and fries that I've received in all of my orders have been limp, stale and nasty.

UPDATE: Went there today (June 30 2023) and was disappointed when I got home and the fries were half full (technically a medium in a large container as seen in the picture). Whoever manages this location needs to come in and either retrain everybody, fire everybody or just close it permanently because this location is terrible. Beyond help. And to see other reviews finding mold in the donuts.. YUCK. Last month, I ordered 2 meals & a happy meal, and all the fries were half cooked like someone took them out of the fryer before the timer went off. Not cooked...

I was picking up an order for SkipTheDishes this morning and had an awful encounter with who I believe was the manager on shift. I was not aware I had to go to the front door to grab the order, as it is quite late, around 2am my time and the drive through was completely empty. The first young lady who initially started speaking through the intercom was abruptly cut off by another woman who was immediately aggressive, condescending and incredibly rude. She started demanding that I was backing up the completely empty drive through and that I had to drive over to the front door. When I asked her to repeat herself because she was talking so fast and harsh, she started yelling about going to the front of the store and getting even more worked up. I drove over and parked right outside the door like she had demanded I do, opened my window and waited. That’s when she started pounding on the window with her fist and waving her arms at me. I waited over 10 minutes and she just got more and more angry and slammed her fist against the window harder and harder. I eventually had to cancel my order, as there was absolutely no way I was going to exit my vehicle and go anywhere near that woman, since she wouldn’t even come to the door. She also had another, larger, male employee come and stand right next to her. But no one bothered to come near the door. I managed to get quite a bit of this encounter on video while I was parked and waiting. Will not be returning to this location...
