Poor service will not support again! Ordered through Skip and the soup tasted burnt the spouts were burnt and darkened it wasn’t edible just disgusting. Ordered from a different location the night before and was absolute perfection and edible. When I called the employee tonight he said he’ll talk to his boss after arguing with me it was fine and there’s nothing wrong with it. Yet I’m the one who is trying it not him, lol. He carried on and proceeded to say the manager would call me back the following day which never happened. Four days later order again but this time through DoorDash and they cancelled my meal after I called Oodle Noodle to talk to the manager about my previous order that I didn’t get a call back from and he tells me the order was cancelled by me which it wasn’t. As for the soup he tells me to go through Skip which I did with no help. Then the order tonight which was with DoorDash he says “I cancelled the order” and it’s sitting here. I’m like well for one I didn’t they called me and told me my order was cancelled and there was no driver. He clearly doesn’t listen or try to rectify the situations that come at hand. I proceed with if the order is ready I can get my husband to come and pay the difference minus the previously burnt soup I got. He complains and says yah your order is here and you cancelled it blablabla. Makes comments that I said the staff was rude which they were. Apparently you’re not allowed to not be happy with food or service here which is insane. He finally agrees and I ask my husband to go. My husband goes immediately to pick it up. Not the foods been sitting for over an hour and super cold. The manger wasn’t welcoming. He hands the food to my husband he pays the difference and the manger leaves and carries on. No thank you for helping with the order I made even though it was cancelled and drove all the way there to get it. This man is an impossible manager. His management skills are 💯 lacking and appalling. He basically called me a “liar” about the wonton soup and about my comments on the service from the staff member I received when I called. He also never made any suggestions as to rectify the situation due to DoorDash cancelling my order, I did. I didn’t even know it was made until I called. I will not order here again or recommend as it’s uncomfortable and disturbing the way I’ve not been looked after. If you’re wanting good service “downtown” location is the place to go! Mr Manager do better and stop being an arrogant man thinking your food is perfect with no problems and service is superb which it’s far from. Read morePlaced an order this evening for a special farewell dinner with my father and son. The noodle boxes tasted burnt and awful - they were completely unpalatable. It is clear the staff at this location did not bother cleaning the cookware before preparing our dinner, leaving black charred residue all over the food. This is not the first time I’ve experienced this same problem at this location. It only seems to occur when ordering via Skip The Dishes, and has not happened when ordering in person.
Staff I spoke with were completely useless and deflected my complaints by saying this is the style of cooking. I’ve had Oodle Noodle hundreds of times and know the difference between a cook style and a disregard for quality. Read moreI ordered the jungle cambogee, and it was 80% cabbage, I go 2 small broccoli, barely any noodles (I had to dig for them). It was to the point where I tried to eat all the visible cabbage, and it just kept coming. After digging out almost everything but the cabbage, the box was filled with it still. And that's after trying to eat a bunch before I gave up. I don't know why I paid so much for a box of a vegetable that's worth maybe 2$. I also ordered a green onion cake that was over cooked, one end was open and black and crumbled to pieces, and when I took it out of the bag there was over a tablespoon of grease that flowed from the bag.
