Please do not support this establishment. Absolutely terrible customer service, the worst I've ever encountered.

My wife ordered a cake for my kid's birthday on a Monday for a Wednesday pickup. We go to pick it up on Wednesday only to be told it was already given out. Clearly they gave it out to the wrong person and it should be a straightforward refund, right? Nope.

The older man we were dealing with (the owner I believe) was terribly rude and unprofessional. After some back and forth where he essentially called us liars and suggested someone else we know already took it, we asked for a refund and he refused. He offered to give us some generic cake as a substitute rather than the custom one we already paid extra for. At this point this was not an acceptable outcome.

For one, we paid extra for specific toppings and lettering and didn't want a lesser cake for the same money, and two, his tone during the encounter was needlessly aggressive and we didn't feel comfortable supporting their business. We left quite upset on what should have been one of the happiest days of our year.

They've called us to ask us to come in on their schedule, to take time out of our day so the employee who gave it away can be there for some reason. They somehow feel it's our responsibility to make sure they don't give it to the wrong person. They apparently didn't ask for ID, they don't give out an order slip, they didn't check the person picking up has the method of payment used to make the order. They indicated their security cameras were not working at the time so they can't check who picked it up.

Someone else took our cake and shame on them, but much more egregious is the way the business treated us as patrons who frequented their establishment and who just wanted a cake for our kid's birthday.

I've never left a bad review anywhere before, but my hope is that this saves at least one other family from experiencing what we had to go through with this rude and unprofessional establishment.

Finally, if you do end up ordering a cake from here, do not pay for it until you pick it up, or at the very least use your credit card so you have a recourse when they refuse to refund you for a cake you...

I have been going to this Marble slab for over 6 years and have loved it. I am a little surprised by all the negative reviews.

We have ordered birthday cakes on various occasions (for my son's birthday and my own over the years). I've had brownie ice cream, bananas split and various ice cream concoctions. When we first started coming we had been shocked because it was unlimited mixins, whereas the clairview one (this was 6+ years ago) had charged for extra at the time. Since it had been so good we kept coming back.

We went quite frequently during COVID and enjoyed talking with the owners.

Today I ordered cookie butter and mixed in my own choosing of skor and peanuts. It was delicious. My husband ordered cookie dough drizzle for him and the kids. We were able to use our AMA discount for 15% off too.

Regarding the coupons, Marble slab switched to the app recently. I used to get emails and was able to have my coupons scanned, but now marble slab wants me to download the app. I didn't really like it when I downloaded it and found the coupons weren't worth it It's not the owners fault when the company makes those changes. I think many companies switched to apps during COVID and it's just the way things are now.

We will happily continue to go here.

Ps. I have gone to DQ off and on and always regret it. Marble slab has similar pricing to the Blizzards and much better quality for a Blizzard like mix. (If you think of the different flavors of ice cream and mixins). I suppose in some sense your quantity may be smaller than a DQ Blizzard but I rate the quality as much,...

I went there today at 4:30pm and ordered a regular size ice cream in a cone. By the way, my family got drinks and ice worth 20$ at the same time. When I got my ice cream I found my waffle wasnt baked correctly and was paper thin at spots, moisture from ice started coming thru it within 20 seconds holding it in my hand. I asked the girl behind the counter for a new waffle but she started arguing about it while my ice cream melting further. I told her I only want my ice cream in a new waffle so I can enjoy it without it becoming all messy within minutes. By the way, I paid 1.90$ extra for this dipped cone! She refused to change the waffle so she thru the entire ice away loosing an 8 dollar ice cream now over the argument to replace the improper cone! What a poor poor customer from these girls! I was going to pay for this cone so I think I have the right to demand a cone that does not get mushy within minutes. I am not going back there and I hope that the owner will read this review to know his employees throw away business of 8$ over a cone for 1.90$ and lose a customer at the same time! Besides, the other reviews here are true, no smile from the girls or and nice words. Very slow service too. They dont even say welcome when you come inside nor when you get served!
