Absolutely horrible customer service from the top down. I was a customer here for years. Northgate is my go to spot now. They treat customers with respect and from my experience, the order accuracy is much better at northgate.
Edit: I’ve already filled out the form on the website that the generic response directed to.
The owner called me and was very unapologetic and had a defensive tone (mentioned I had a history for filing complaints, lol). I explained to her that if my orders were correct, I wouldn’t have complained in the past. And it wasn’t small issues, it was things most people would complain about. Customer service and food quality are hit and miss. I am saying this all based on my experience and what I’ve been told by family and friends. If your service isn’t good and you receive feedback to correct that, you should maybe listen to that feedback and better your service instead of getting defensive. Not deny me and my family of service, because you can’t accept negative feedback.
To keep it simple, the owner sided with thr manager, even though she was the one denying a paying customer a delivery order based on complaints in the past! Keep in mind I have dealt with one great manager there for approx. the last 7-8 orders I’ve placed with 0 issues. The food was always great the last few times and I tried explaining this to the owner. I also ordered delivery less than a week prior, with no issues. Came to my house and I tipped the drivers driver very well (for a 2-3 min drive). What a joke. That’s not how you treat a long time customer. Had they not been so close to my house, I honestly wouldn’t have ordered from them as many times as I did.
If the owner of the store treated me that poorly, it’s expected that the poor customer service will trickle down. I will never support this location again. The recent reviews from customers outlining bad...
Read moreGreeted very rudely!!! a local soccer club (U10 Girls) were doing a community clean up and bottle drive to raise money for uniforms and tournament entry fees yesterday.
During the drive the girls thought that they could maybe see if a few local restaurants in the area would be able to donate some empty bottles, cans ect….
While some businesses in the namao centre were able to help there were a few that couldn’t and were sent off with a smile and well wishes... (McDonald’s even gave them some beverages to help keep their spirits lifted)
Boston Pizza in namao however couldn’t even give the girls the common courtesy to ask if you had anything to donate… In fact whoever came to door yesterday didn’t/wouldn’t open it (I get it maybe it’s for safety reasons) and aggressively tapped on the hours of business sign… (I get it you’re closed… but you were once 10 years old and most likely had to do a fundraiser… not easy…) they had tried to ask through the glass… and they were rudely interrupted without hesitation and gave a sharpe NO!… The girls came back to the truck and said they felt embarrassed after that…. They were 10 years old…
I have had many group gatherings and team functions at this establishment but I can assure you I will never step foot in that restaurant again and will encourage all of my other colleagues to consider a different establishment.
If this is how your staff is going to act I don’t want to support this business then.
I’ll pass this on to corporate...
Read moreBeen to many Boston Pizza locations over the years, but this one was a particularly bad experience for us. We went to this location to celebrate our niece's 4th birthday.
We weren't sure if they'd be able to provide a whole cake for us to celebrate with after the meal so we called ahead and asked, and they told us it would be no problem for us to purchase an entire Chocolate Explosion cake, and they would put on the candles that we supplied. However, once we arrived at the restaurant, they then told us this would not be possible, and we could only purchased individual slices of the cake. (Shout out to the Sobeys across the parking lot that went above and beyond to create and decorate an amazing cake on short notice to keep this evening from being a total disaster).
Although the restaurant was not particularly busy, service was slow and inattentive. Drinks were seldom refreshed, if at all. After the meal was over but before the dessert, the appetizer plates had still not been cleared so we politely asked if they could be removed to make more room on the table, to which the waitress became rude and snarky. One order was wrong (although to be fair they at least offered a complimentary order of fries to the person who had to wait for their meal to be made while everyone else ate).
The food itself was typical Boston Pizza fare, nothing groundbreaking but nothing wrong with it. However, the service and overall experience was terrible, and we will not return to...
