Update: I was left with an inferior experience again. This time, my chicken sandwich was burned and the onions I asked to be removed were not. How do you enjoy the rest of your meal when your first bite is burned chicken with onion when you highly dislike both of those tastes? I had to remove lots of burned bits to eat the sandwich, but I was really hungry so finished whatever was left unburned anyway. My better half had a great meal, how ironic considering I am the one who keeps wanting to come here and she could take it or leave it. The waitress was nice and apologized several times but some other employee only offered to make it right after I had left the building and when my partner was paying. Due to my 'less than' experience, they gave my partner a couple pieces of carrot cake. I don't do cake, I'm a pie guy, so yeah, how exciting for her that my burned meal resulted in some free desserts that only she will enjoy haha! Laughably, my partner may be back by herself or with others, but this is going to be the last time coming here for me. Sorry Robyn, this is the opposite of my initial review, I've been disappointed once too many times. Original review: This is our new regular hang out spot. I'm an eggs Benny kinda person and this place is my goto when in a Benny State of Mind. I boasted so much about how great they were, my server told me Robyn teared up a little when she heard that. Look, the food here is made with love and we're currently on a mission to try the entire menu. We always get a slice of pie from the ever changing dessert case, we love this place, the food and the staff. We don't even mind having to wait for a table everytime we come, it's that good.

Rockin Robyn’s has those classic old-school 90s diner vibes, complete with walls full of art, photos, and what I’d call nostalgic knickknacks. They also have retro music playing, which adds to the atmosphere and makes it fun to sing along while you wait. The service was very quick and the staff were friendly, which made for a pleasant start. We decided to finally check it out after constantly seeing lineups outside every time we drove by. This time, we showed up right when they opened to beat the crowd and see what the hype was all about. Now, I’m not saying I was disappointed, but I also don’t fully understand the hype. The food was good, but not something I’d go out of my way to recommend to friends. I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict and the breakfast Yorkies. The Benny was average. You really can’t mess up eggs Benedict with salmon, but it didn’t stand out either. The panfries were just okay. Definitely under-seasoned and underwhelming. The Yorkshire, on the other hand, was great. Perfectly runny eggs, rich and tasty gravy, and a soft fluffy Yorkshire pudding. Honestly, it made me feel like ordering the Benny was a mistake in comparison. The place does get busy, so while you don’t need to be there right at opening, coming within the first hour is a good idea if you want to avoid waiting. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a local breakfast. I probably won’t be going out of my way to come back, but if you want to support local and have a pretty good meal with a fun retro vibe, this is a solid choice.

A True Diner Gem with Food, Fun, and Fantastic Service If you're looking for a real-deal diner experience, Rockin' Robyn's delivers in every way. From the moment we walked in, the 1950s ambiance set the tone—jukebox tunes, Marilyn Monroe Coca-Cola ads, and that cozy, nostalgic charm that’s hard to find these days. The menu is packed with comfort food classics and creative options. My buddy customized his Jalapeño Popper sandwich with fried chicken and BROTHER devoured it like a champ. The burgers and Reuben are diner staples done right, and the chicken tendies were a hit with the kids. They couldn’t get enough of the variety of fries—curly, crinkle, and straight-cut kept them coming back for more. The milkshakes were a family favorite—chocolate and vanilla were both rich, creamy, and served old-school style. They calmed the kids down and brought smiles all around. And don’t skip dessert: the Turtles Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cheesecake was a showstopper, and they even had gluten-free options for our celiac family member, which was a huge relief. Very accommodating! Riley, the host, was incredible—attentive, friendly, and made sure we all fit comfortably at our table. From keeping the kids happy to tossing out a few Winnipeg Jets zingers that had my best bud laughing, Riley made the whole experience feel personal and fun. Rockin' Robyn's is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food, warm service, and a blast from the past. We’ll definitely be back!

If I could give zero stars I would. My fiancé and I were getting our engagement photos taken. Both I and my photographer called ahead of time to ask if photography was allowed, and we were clearly told yes. We planned our entire shoot around this, and our photographer even drove two hours to be there.

But once we started taking pictures, the manager abruptly told us to stop, saying it was “against policy.” That was the only explanation, no apology, no accountability. Just a cold dismissal.

If this is truly a policy, why wasn’t it communicated over the phone when we specifically asked? That lack of clarity and care completely ruined what should have been a special moment for us.

The manager showed no consideration or empathy, and the entire situation felt unnecessarily hostile. It was a total waste of our time, effort, and energy, all because of poor management.

We won’t be back, and we absolutely don’t recommend Rockin Robyn’s to anyone looking for a welcoming or reliable experience.

REPLY TO OWNER:

Wow. It’s honestly disappointing to see how you’ve twisted key details to make your business appear in the right. Let me be very clear: We were told to come around 6:00 p.m., that time was specifically suggested to us over the phone. We never said we didn’t want to “book a photoshoot”; we were simply told it wasn’t necessary and that it would be fine if we came during a slower time.

Our photographer was extremely respectful, she silenced her camera, used no flash, and was constantly aware of her surroundings to avoid being disruptive. To suggest otherwise is simply false. The mention of her backpack being a “problem” feels like a reach, she had it on her back and wasn’t in anyone’s way until your manager came and made the entire interaction uncomfortable.

Your manager was not kind or helpful. She was dismissive, gave vague “maybes” instead of real solutions, and made us feel like we were a burden rather than guests. Saying “maybe we’ll let you take pictures later” or “maybe you can stay late” isn’t helpful, it’s evasive. She didn’t take responsibility for the miscommunication or offer any form of real support.

And to top it off, instead of showing any openness to feedback, your response is focused entirely on justifying your side and defending your team, even ending with a public accusation about a name I allegedly called your manager, which I will not even dignify with a response.

This whole experience was about a lack of clear communication, poor customer service, and now a complete lack of accountability. If your business’s first instinct is to spin things instead of reflecting and growing, that says everything.

Wishing you clarity and better customer relations...

I've been going here for a good while. It started off amazing. The atmosphere is great.

This is where, sadly, it ends.

Over the past few visits this restaurant has gone significantly downhill. One visit our server straight out lied that their milkshake maker was broken because he was too lazy to make one. This was confirmed after we paid the bill by the supervisor.

This last one was the final straw however. Service was basically non existent. Waiting forever for coffee refill, when my wife got hers topped up and my cup just sat empty as the staff rushed off. Once food arrived her omelet was over done, dry and flavorless. My dish had a semi cooked egg, most of it still raw and the meat had a back flavor tasting like it had spoiled. I ate about half of it but began to feel sick to my stomach. My wife couldn't eat her omelet due to the dryness. After a long wait the server came to do a table touch and upon explanation she had the omelet remade and I explained I couldn't eat anything different due to the offputting of the under cooked and possibly spoiled meal. Again only half at most was eaten.

When the bill came they had offered us coffee for free, but had placed everything else at full price, despite having to get one remade and the other inedible. When I asked to talk to someone they only removed the omelet from the bill and left it at that. No chat with a supervisor like I requested, nothing.

I have heard supervisors talking down on customers and on people coming in to apply for a job. Loud enough for anyone to hear.

Short of it, this use to be great. Now it is by far one of the worst...
