They then found me on Facebook, made threatening messages, and blocked me. I laughed it off and thought about how disgusted I was with this place. I recently lamented the loss of this jacket... it was my favorite jacket and I would have paid a lot of money to have it back. It was an Edmonton Eskimoes Grey Cup edition black windbreaker style jacket. I got it when I was in Korea, shipped overseas by my parents for Christmas present. It was more than a jacket to me, and the staff of Rosario's most likely tossed it. We stayed until the end of the night- and I guarantee no patrons swiped it.

Everything was great with our service. The problem comes when I left my jacket there. I left it there at the end of the night- and was quickly asked to leave at closing time (a part of the reason I left my jacket there).

I left a voicemail asking about the jacket and called the next afternoon. No response. In fact, when I called I got someone to answer the phone and then tell me I have to call back in 30 minutes because they're too busy to talk to me. Never heard of that one before, but I thought maybe everyone in Edmonton had gone there at that moment- so they were too busy.

I call back in 30 minutes, same story. Too busy to talk to me. Unbelievable. They suggest I call back at 7pm when the night shift starts.

I call back at 7pm and unfortunately the guy can't find my jacket. I give him an exact description and he doesn't have it. He tells me to call back tomorrow. I'm going to call them tomorrow- but I highly doubt they have my jacket. I also highly doubt anyone that answers the phone is going to be able to help me.

I talked to a lot of other people, and apparently this place swallows jackets like no tomorrow. If you leave your jacket there, it's gonna be gone. This probably goes double for anything else like purses, sunglasses, wallets... or whatever.

Bunch of terrible thieves and I'd like to report them to the BBB.

The only way this problem gets solved is by us shining a light on it.

Never had so many people provide so little care... and we tipped so good too. All...

Rosario's is a karaoke pool bar, been there once before, experience was good.

Most recent visit: I'm over 35 and got ID'd unfortunately wasn't driving that night and had to go get my ID, understandable, when I got back I felt unwelcomed. NO one checked my ID 40mins after return.

Tips: A) don't pour before ID, my other friend was happily drinking her triple before getting ID'd) and my drinks were poured before checking my ID PROTIP: don't offer the hour old drink back to me unless it's on the house. B) use your discretion, if a table of 4 people is all over 35, and you see a picture of my ID saying I'm 35, maybe just maybe I don't appear under 25 that night...lol C)promptly check ID, hello a minor could have been drinking the table drinks for 40mins, D) they don't have monitors at all points of entry. (all of this could have been eliminated if I was denied entry)

It's important to know the law, and more importantly to not follow it blindly. Critical thinkers are needed, ask what's the purpose of checking ID? it's not to make sure we are carrying it, it's to prevent underage patronage.

I feel unsafe leaving this review with my real name!! The grumpy bartender (older lady) is extremely rude and passive aggressive!! I am in disbelief that she gets away with treating customers so badly!!

She will ignore you, mock you, and have you standing at the counter with money in your hand, and NEVER serves you, ON PURPOSE!! She also tells the waitresses to ignore you!!!! She will remember you and treat you just as bad when you return. It's toxic, eerie, creepy, and concerning!!

How many people has she done this to? I am not surprised to see other customers leaving reviews with similar experiences to mine!!!

I played pool, kindly purchased a few drinks, tipped her extremely well, and then suddenly she refuses to serve me and has ignored me ever since!! Without a word she has held a grudge against me for a year!!! It's absolutely insane and scary!!!

At least I know I'm not the only one!! I've been going to Rosario's long before she came along and started scaring people away!! Oh well! Time to move on and hope she doesn't pull a Patrick Bateman on me for leaving this review ✌️🤘 it's hip to be a square eh you old bird!
