In Winter of 2019 - Paid for Grande lattes in the Reusable Holiday Cups. When I picked it up I noticed that it was not filled to the top. I asked what I paid for, (already knowing it is supposed to be a grande) and the barista, that handed it to me, had ask the barista at the till what I paid for. She confirmed they were suppose to be GRANDES. I said that I think the drinks I recieved were TALLS and that filling it up to the top should be grande volume. He asked the barista that made my drinks to fill it up some more. This picture is what they filled it to AFTER I asked them to top it up.
Meanwhile, the store was not busy and the employees there were goofing off and unprofessional. The barista that took my order was well mannered and quite good at her job. It was the barista that made my drink and the person who presented my drink that ruined the experience for me.
At the same store (just after using the Red Reusable Holiday Cup a few times about 3 weeks ago), I asked a barista at this location where they fill the cup when it is a grande. They replied to the top of the cup. I asked what the line was for and she told me it was a tall.
I went home and measured it out and it was 1.5 cups which is equivalent to 12oz. On Starbucks website says 12oz is a Tall whereas 16oz is a Grande.

Returned to this location today Sep 16, 2021 for PSL, same issue as over a year ago...
Did not fill it all the way up and I didn't even ask for whip this time.
I didn't have time to check before we left, as I was running late for work.

When my cup came up, it was not my drink but the drink of a woman ahead of me who had been waiting at a table in the corner, away from the bar. I told them that was the wrong drink. The barista poured the drink out of my personal cup and into a disposable cup for the woman ahead of me and then called her name. I was horrified! I reuse my personal cup daily and usually only rinse it out - definitely not sanitize it. When I started to protest, the barista merely rinse my cup over the spray machine that they use for the steaming cups and kept going. Needless to say, I didn't trust going there for quite a few months. Today, I needed a little pick-me-up after a day alone with my toddler. I am pregnant, so I ordered a decaf - latte, because I know that a brewed decaf will take an extra 5 minutes. They had apparently cleaned the decaf for the night (at 445), but would bring my drink to me when it was done. After 10 minutes of containing my son in the cafe, I went to the bar to ask. A barista told me he would check on it. After 2-3 minutes and no answer, I just asked all 5 employees standing around, goofing off, for a refund. Since posting a negative review on google they have decided to make all my drinks purchased through the app with decaf. Hope they enjoy cooperate coming down on them. They are the sole reason I purchased an expensive espresso machine and only use Starbucks when I'm out of locally roasted beans. Save yourself the money buy an expensive espresso machine support a local roaster and enjoy amazing espresso drinks. YouTube will guide you how to make a much better beverage.
