This was my first experience. While I really wanted to leave a 5 star review, a few things needed improvement. To start, I had an incredible Insalata Caprese. Featured photos. Easily the best I've had both in flavor and in presentation. Great work chef!! I am Celiac so I had the gluten free pasta in the seafood Alfredo sauce. I requested a notch more garlic. The dish came out and it was incredible. Absolutely I would order this again. The fallen star come to the dessert. Sadly the gelato portions are very small and very high priced. We ordered the taramisu. It was defrosted, with a soggy base dressed in whipped cream. It was not good. The plate remined full when it was taken away. The service was wonderful, the meal great, the desserts and selection were not good. I'll be back but suggest more dessert options.

Pasta heaven. It's very hard to make something memorable from pasta. It's normally associated with home cooking. But, at Tasty Tomato's, they managed to add a special taste to this plane food. I suspect, that a very important contributor to the excellence of this place is their, daily produced onsite, fresh pasta sauce. One place for improvement, would be a quality of the eatery's bread. It had no crust, which is very important to me, and reminded me not of the Italy, but of the week old bread from my fridge.

Wholesome family restaurant that refuses to disappoint! Their staff are very detail oriented, always making sure every element of the customer’s experience is considered - our server made sure we had enough space between us and the table behind us, wanted us to be sitting out of the sun, and was very cognizant of how little time we had. The food came out very quickly and tasted delicious! Ask for the secret menu - there are some really delicious options that will likely alternate on and off of it!

This is a cute place that has been around forever. If you read the newspaper articles you can see that it has been a neighbourhood favourite for 30+ years. The problem is is I think it's had its day in the sun. I've been here a few times and it seems to be better when it's busy. Last visit it was a slower evening. Not a weekend. I ordered the Tiger Prawn Alfredo. BUT I received tiny shrimps that look like the ones you get in Chinese food. Not a prawn in sight. The bread was stale and surprisingly the service wasn't as attentive as I thought it would be on such a quiet night. I left disenchanted and quite upset about the fact that the kitchen used tiny shrimp because they were obviously out of tiger prawn 🍤 ...Instead of telling me I'm sorry that dish is not available tonight. The sauce was a bit watery for an Alfredo and flavorless. I think that they have different chefs on the weekend. So I think that you might luck out with a more tasty and pleasant experience on the weekends. Anyways it has been around forever and it's suffering greatly with this LRT construction. I like to go to Mom and Pop places and support local and not a big fan of chains. But I don't know if I will go back. I think it is a good ole days gone by restaurant and unfortunately time is limited with...

We have been wanting to go here forever, finally went and was so disappointed! Our waitress was so fake she had the big smile but you knew it was fake. We had ordered an appetizer and had already given her our bread plates and they were piled up and she was taking them away , we asked for plates for the appetizers and she actually said here use these ones that we had piled up and had no idea who they belonged to. She put them all down with this stupid smile thinking that was ok! We were so disgusted!!!! We said nothing and were in total shock. The food not all that it’s hyped up to be there was wine in the sauces and maybe that’s normal but we have never had it before we don’t like the taste of it so didn’t eat much. Never once did she ask me if I wanted a refill but did ask my husband several times as he was drinking alcohol and I’m assuming it’s better for her tip wise and for the restaurant but seriously why? We then asked for the bill to be separate and she said no we don’t do that we had to figure it out and tell them what we owed and she didn’t even come back she had a guy come over and do it and he explained that they never seperate the bills as they are old school Well old school goodbye never again and we will be sure to let our friends know all about...

No one called me back, and I was not on their list well I never got my silverware so I had to get up and ask for some we had bread and everyone had side plates but I didn't I ordered a appetizer it came as the young lady picked up the side plate from the bread I asked her for some plates so we could all try there spicey sausage in tomatoe sauce she then handed use the plates back that she just stacked up wow I was shocked never had anyone ever did that before My meal was not that great my veal was not crispy it was thin and tuff she never came back to see if we where happy with our meals I ate my bow noodles in tomatoe sauce at lease that was good In the end, we said we would like different bills she told us no, they don't do that unreal Don't think I would tell anybody to go there as the service was not pleasant and passing back dirty dishes was not very pleasant for anyone. There food was nothing to wright home to as I am a very much Italian eater I was not impressed with this restaurant...
