I messaged on a Thursday to get a cake made for saturday. It was such a tight time constraint but the work got done and it got DONE! My sister recently got her citizenship and the family was coming together to celebrate. I wanted to get her something special to celebrate but not have it look like a Canada Day cake. Sumaira personalized this cake experience for my sister, creating a unique Korea to Canada celebration cake with fresh real flowers and macarons as toppings. (the macarons were some of the best I have had!). We had red velvet with such a smooth and light cream cheese filling (usually I find them really heavy but it was absolutely perfect). This cake wasn't just a cake for us, it really was the cherry on top to celebrate my sister and the journey it's been to become a citizen. It was art for my family to engoy making the celebration just that more special. Worth every penny. We are obsessed I have nothing but praises for Sumaira's work, artistry, skill, and immense attention to detail....

I was looking for a custom gluten-free cake for my husband’s birthday, with a dinosaur theme since he’s a big fan of dinos! I contacted several places, but none could meet my requirements—until I found this amazing baker. Her cakes are not only beautifully crafted but also incredibly delicious. I gave her the decors and she did an amazing job with them. The cake was exactly what I envisioned, and you wouldn’t even know it was gluten-free because it tasted so good! My husband loved it, and everyone who saw the cake had nothing but compliments. The price was reasonable, and she was easy to work with throughout the process. I have had the delicious opportunity to taste a number of different offerings from Vanilla Pod Confections. The cakes are beautifully hand crafted pieces of art but are also incredibly delicious. Usually, when I have tried fancy cakes, they are dry or have been kept too long in a refrigerator but the cakes from Vanilla Pod Confections is moist and fresh with a superior taste.

I have also purchased the boxed varieties that are sold including macaroons, parfaits, chocolate covered strawberries, carrot cake, muffins, chocolate covered, filled dates, etc and I have been delighted every time.
