Chick Fiesta — Restaurant in Nunavut

I don’t live close to this location, was just in town and wanted to try this spot. They took way too long to make the food even though I ordered ahead via phone and was the only customer when I got there. First mess up was when I asked for a poutine as a side with the peri steak sandwich but they gave me a large poutine and charged me for it, I didn’t make a scene. Second one was when I asked for a chocolate cheesecake (and showed them a picture) but they gave me a chocolate caramel cake which I did not know until I got out of the store. I went back and told them they got the cake wrong and they denied it that I ordered the cheesecake. The female employee was yelling and talked behind my back in Urdu which she thought I didn’t understand.

I got the peri steak sandwich, poutine and peri grilled chicken burger. The food was not good compared to the Markham location. The steak wasn’t suicide spicy which I wanted and the poutine did not have enough gravy. Which made it taste dry.

Wouldn’t recommend...

Resoanably priced, large serving of freshly grilled & plenty of meat but (unfortunately) little flavour.

We tried "Family Fiesta" meal that includes full chicken, which is cut into really large chunks of meat. Not sure if they forgot or what, but the order came with no sauce on the side. There is some some gravy at the bottom of the box which we tried to use as a sauce but still could not feel any flavor. We ended up eating it the next day with our home made sauce which added the much needed flavor to their nicely grilled meat.

Not sure if this was because we ordered mild but there was no taste to the kababs as well. The beef one was floating in red gravy.

Garlic bread was nice & hot. The rice & coleslaw on the side were ok too.

So, basically, if you devour plain old chunks of meat than you will love this place. Unfortunately, we don't so it didnt go too...

Found this resturant while browsing for some other options & went straight there. Ordered Chicken & Ribs platters for take out. The staff was really friendly & polite. Place was really nice & clean. Food was also good but can be much better with some changes. Some of the ribs were cooked unevenly so some portions were extra charred while others were half cooked & chewy. I asked for mild spices for chicken but even mild were spicy for me (Usually I eat chicken wid lemon & herbs so that can be the reason behind it). Fries & baked potatoes were good but they really need to work on their Salads as those were below average. Definitely I ll try again with some...
