This evening while I was dining in the restaurant. I sat at a table and across from me was another person eating doing their thing. However shortly after I sat down I noticed the other person had a container (pill bottle) with something that looked crystal like within it. I thought ok what ever but he than emptied the contents into the table. At which point I realised this was crystal meth that he had (In know this because I worked EMS for 5 years). I immediately went to the front counter told the girl working (Breanna, give this woman a raise btw because she was awesome). Informing her off the situation and that she needed to call the police IMMEDIATELY. I than sat back down and watched to see what the gentlemen would do. While I was away he had crushed the crystal and formed a line of the contents onto the table. Shortly afterwards he snorted said line up into his nose. Repeated to do this several more times. Than got up and left. I immediately went and asked if they had called the police, mgr her name was Keera informed; No he left what do you expect me to do? And than proceed to go back into the food line and help with assembly of sandwiches. Personally I wasn't ok with this so I asked Breanna to please go and get the mgr NOW. Once she arrived I asked her if she was ok with her and her restaurant bring liable if someone got hurt while sitting at that table. I could see and showed her that there was still residue of snorted contents on table. She said well what should I do??? I informed her CALL THE POLICE. I proceeded to get her name and left and now am filling...
Read moreUsually my drive-thru experience at this Wendy's is good, but I wanted to dine in yesterday with my female friend who is First Nations. The manager/floor lead working the front end made a shocking, disgusting insinuation towards my friend as she wanted to use the washroom which are locked. First, denied my friend access to the washroom and when I asked her why the employee replied verbatim that my friend would use drugs in the washroom and it would be difficult to resuscitate her if she ODed. To make a judgment like that based on my friend's modest clothing and racial background was absolutely uncalled for and extremely disrespectful. She just wanted to wash her hands prior to eating. My friend was embarrassed to have been told that in public and as I consoled her we decided to eat our food and beverage outside. Some of the staff here need sensitivity training when it comes to working with vulnerable populations. Yes, it is by a transit station in a rougher part of Edmonton and can invite unhoused people or people that want to use the washroom to consume illicit drugs - but in the case someone ODs in their washroom you can call 911 or use Naloxone. I did not get the name of the employee in question but I also observed her to be speaking to food couriers in a rude manner as well. I won't be spending my hard earned dollars at this...
Read moreThis was a horrible experience. We went there with my friends and had some coupons. Went to the window and had a mixed up of things but we figured it out. The guy gave us our food and we realized we were missing 3 sets of fries. We did not wanted to hold the line (beign nice) so we decided to re-do the drive-thru line to ask for those fries and the guy in the window seemed so annoyed by their own mistake. Then, this lady came up and said show me the bags which we did and she dared to say there is grease on this bag, so that means there were fries. LIKE M'AM we are not trying to steal fries!!! I definetly called her out and said it was super rude of her to assume we were stealing. She got all defensive and just ran and got the fries. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. At that point we wanted a refund and give the food back, which they denied by saying "we solved the problem, right?"
I was too mad to stay and argue about my refund and returning the food. Do not go here if you want poor customer service. Im planning on calling tomorrow to speak with...
