Togo Sushi UBC — Restaurant in Electoral Area A

Ordered our food at 745pm and came back at 8:08pm to pick our order. The older guy just went off on us, "we have been waiting for you", "we close at 800pm". After hearing his speech, he then proceed to give us our food. I wanted to say so much more, but we know the owners of the other locations (Metro / and previous Oakridge). Maybe in the future you should have your cashier let people know how long the wait is. That's part of customer service not just taking my order and accepting payment. Also if you close at 800pm, showing up at 808pm doesn't warrant a whole conservation. You and your cashier were still cashing out. The las time I check with my whole career in food industry, is that we close at x time but still don't leave the premises as their still closing procedures. If you close at 800pm, you can still serve until this time. You might want to change your closing time to 730pm then if you want to be out of the restaurant by 800pm. Consistently fresh and delicious!

I have been ordering from this location of Togo Sushi multiple times a week since 2019. They have always been exceptionally friendly, their food has always tasted great with noticeably fresh ingredients, and most importantly is they're consistently good at providing these measures of quality! I have never had a bad experience here.

Clean and convenient location and very fair prices!

Their menu offers a great selection of items, I understand they aren't world class, what they offer is some very classic items, and a small menu of special rolls that is always satisfying. My mouth is watering in anticipation of...

The place was fine, and fast, but nothing to write home about. I feel they need to work on their rolls. The unagi roll had lettuce in it, which made the whole thing fall apart really easily. The spicy salmon only had spicey sauce on top, whereas usually it should have chopped salmon and siracha or whatever mixed together inside the roll. Both unagi and spicy salmon also had a lot of cucumber in them. Cheap filler I suppose. The rice was good.

Wouldn't go out of my way to go again, but wouldn't avoid it by any...
