We went to mondos today for lunch and it was the worst experience of my life, considering my mom didn’t even eat but was more angry than me about the service we received. By the way for the kids burger it’s just a frozen patty that is tiny that’s thrown on a regular sized bun. After my mother taking my son to the car because he was getting antsy we sat there for a good 10-15 minutes waiting for the bill, even though I made it clear we were done by stacking everything on the front of the table and kept looking over at the servers In return we got looks back than her turning and laughing to her coworker. Mind you I had an almost 2 year old with me and it took her 20 mins to get to our table and serve us. Also my friend ordered a drink FROM their drink menu that was clearly not new as the woman said they were and had to come back to the table to read the ingredients off the menus she never took back from us after us ordering. Also very little alcohol ratio in the “woo woo” according to my friend. The window where we were sitting also had sugar or salt spilled everywhere on the sill and the drink menus that were apparently new were already scratched and clearly not new and also not washed No booster seats either there/ if there was I definitely wasn’t offered one by my waitress. With the presentation of their food as well, definitely could make the same burger plate for cheaper than 20$ at home. Soggy bun. Condiments such as pickles not layed properly in the burger. Never got refills on drinks or even asked how...
Read moreWe showed up with a group of 11 of us on our way to fly home from work. Our kind and sweet waitress (the one with curly hair that grew up in Kitimat! Didn’t catch her name) accommodated our boisterous table promptly. She managed every single weird request (including the one dude that wanted strawberries and whipped cream for breakfast lol) and was kind, graceful, attentive, and speedy. Our table was not easy, some of those boys can be tough to handle as customers sometimes. The food was amazing; whole ingredients and hot and fresh. It didn’t take a lot of time, and she and the kitchen nailed every single order flawlessly. She came back and let us reorder and bill out multiple times as our flights kept getting delayed. She kept us very happy. This place isn’t super fancy or anything, but what they do they do it WELL and their prices are very reasonable. This was by far the best service I’ve had in Fort St John, and probably my best overall restaurant experience too....
Read moreI went there quite a few months ago and it was pretty decent however it seems recently it has changed hands and you can definitely tell the difference. Not at all worth the price.
Ordered a Reuben and the dispatcher called to let us know they were out, no worries we substituted for a burger instead. Well our order showed up and we got the most pitiful Reuben you'd ever seen, literally one tiny piece of meat, a half scrape of sauerkraut and that's it! And worse, the side was not with it so we paid over $22 for a measly sandwich and nothing else.
And buyer beware, although the way the menu is written you would assume the burgers all come with patties, the omelette burger does not in fact come with a patty it's just an omelet and lettuce on a bun.
Lastly, they make you pay extra for yam fries, they show up ice cold and you don't get the industry standard chipotle mayo dip with it. Don't waste your money here.
If I could give this experience 0...
