Subway — Restaurant in Fort St. John

Went to Subway, cause it was in walking distance to my place. On jan 01,2020 around 6:30pm. There were about 3 ladies working, very friendly and inviting. 2 customers ahead of me.

As I approached the counter one of them asked me what type of bread you would like. I stated Honey Oak. She stated all she has was 3 footlongs and all are whole wheat. As well as a few flat breads. Not sure why she asked me since basically I didn't have much of a choice of what type of bread I can choose.

So it came to what type of sub it was, I asked "what was your sub of the day?" Apparently this subway did not have sub of the day? When I travel across Canada and/or travel to USA they have sub of the day as well? I chose the cold cut trio.

Came to asking what kind of cheese? I stated Monterey Jack please. Yet again another item not available. This time upset that 3 things I get most of the time from Subway, cant get what I wanted. Ended up getting swiss. The lady stated 'you must not be from around here? Must be from the states?" and chuckled. I omit I kind of chuckled but stating I'm someone which I am not..? was a bit upsetting after the fact!

Surprised to me that I have been to subway before in Canada and always get what I requested, Also surprised as well that around dinner time have no bread/subs made?

Ordered my veggies and sauces. Asked for salt and extra pepper. She then spread abundance amount on my sub (of the salt/pepper mix) I also asked for extra peppercorn NOT salt! I am assuming she didn't hear me, but too late now. Even my friend that was with me stated that looked like a lot! At this time there were also 3 other customers behind me and didn't want to complain about me sub, or make a new one as there wont be anymore bread left!

Ordered cookies and drink and left back to my place. Sat down took two bites and chucked it all out. Very bad experience! Specially items...

I usually have a good experience at Subway, but this time was really disappointing. The girl working there—her name started with “Mon” was extremely rude. When I walked in, she didn’t even say hello or acknowledge me. This is probably one of the best subways ive been to. I travel for work alot and experience a wide variety of places, but the staff here are amazing, very kind, very efficient, even the trainees are very competent and quick. I get a fairly odd sub with extra meat and most of the time the staff question or even try and talk me out of my order but the staff here are very kind and diligent. Will absolutely come back every...
