Horrible experience! I'm in the hospital for heart attack. I asked my almost 70 year old dad to pick me up a healthy chicken ceaser salade. What ended up happening was I choked on a piece of the wish bone that was mixed in the salade after cracking my tooth. So after almost choking to death, because of poor quality control provided by kitchen staff, I called into restaurant to express my concern, a lady by the name of LYDIA answered the phone saying there was no manager working on Saturday, when I asked for the manager's name she said she didn't know his first name, phone number, schedule, or even an email. After arguing with her that this was totally unacceptable, she said let me go to the back of the restaurant. Came back to the phone saying " oh yeah there's a schedule saying he'd be back Monday, and that his name was Mr. Morin. Honestly what kind of a team leader would leave their staff with out any method of contact in case of an emergency. It wasn't till the end of an almost 15 minute call when I said aren't you going to even apologize on behalf of the staff working under you, that she sarcastically said "oh I'm sorry". Who treats their guests like that... Oh yeah LYDIA!! THIS LADY SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY! not sure who's incharge of hiring the staff there but horrible job. LYDIA should have been hired to do dishes perhaps sweep up garbage not run a restaurant! Mr. Morin I've left my contact information with her. It shouldn't be up to me to contact you again, hoping you take better care of your customers than your staff. After all it's us customers that keep your business running. After I'm discharged from hospital I will be heading to a dentist for an estimate on how much it will cost to repair the damage. I'm hoping to receive a call Monday when your supposedly in to rectify this issue. Again horrible customer service provided by entire team on duty. Do your restaurant justice and fire that lady before she ends up damaging your restaurants. Her name again is LYDIA. The menu selection was as to be expected, they serve chicken and ribs with a few different varieties of sandwiches, poutine and sides. I originally wanted to order the rib+leg meal but I was told by the cashier ribs weren't being served yet. Found it odd seeing as how they opened at 2pm and we arrived after 430pm. Ended up with the half chicken meal and a thai poutine and my spouse got the boucan burger meal. We received our meal at a good time and everything was hot and fresh. The thai poutine was exceptionally good and they're dipping gravy I must say is better than the obvious competitors. The fries are from frozen and the bun included in the meal is somewhat that of a top bun you would receive at mcdonalds but the chicken was well cooked and delicious. The young lady behind the counter, who took the order, was knowledgable and helpful! The temperature in the restaurant was a bit cold. I arrived at 8 PM with a friend for dinner… At 8:45 PM the young cashier, came to the table to advise my dinner, companion and I the restaurant would be closing in 15 minutes and we had to leave. The level of professionalism in dealing with this particular situation should have been much better. I think my point is if you’re going to go for dinner, give yourself enough time so as to finish your meal before you are served with Takeaway boxes while you were midway...
