See attached photos of cockroach in my room. DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed at this hotel for work, room 220. I was there for 4 nights and on the first night I called to have a microwave brought to the room, the next evening I returned to my hotel after a 12 hour day of work to sit down at the table and have a drink and relax before bed, only to find a COCKROACH on my table... appalled by this I put a cup over it and called the front desk to come witness what I had found, they seemed almost unphased by the fact that such a filthy insect was roaming their hotel, a worker showed up to my room with gloves, and when I lifted the cup he grabbed it with his hands, put it into a cup and brought it down stairs, but the way he did so was like he was completely unphased and had done this before.. my room was changed to another on the same floor but wIth smaller beds and a broken fire place, however if there is a roach in one room the size that I saw, then there is many more in this hotel, so not only was I absolutely disgusted i had to spend my next 2 nights on edge and putting all my clothes in a garbage bag to ensure I am not bringing these insects or their eggs home with me... we were offered no compensation and i feel they tried to dismiss it so as not to let others know of this infestation as they did not seem concerned at the front desk. Not only this but each morning at 8 am I was awoken by the loudest banging ever, I went upstairs to see what this was only to find workers smashing out a tub of a room and pulling everything out of it. I will NEVER stay here again and I am disgusted to have paid what i did to stay at this place. Next time, I will use air bnb atleast they are accountable for these things. This is a 1 star hotel, iv stayed in cleaner motels.

ALERT!!!!!!!!! RACISTS!!!!!! The worst hotel experience ever. Came to have a nice family trip. On the first night found roaches in our room. Confronted the staff about the issue, they changed our room to a floor where construction is still ongoing. The next day we left our room with the do not disturb sign on the door thinking no one is going inside like any other hotel. Turn out housekeeping like keeping stuff for themselves along with a few hundred dollars infront on the tv. Confronted the staff, she had the most casual reaction to the situation. Whats worse is that we asked for extra blanket couldnt get it for an hour asked the lady again nicely said she will do it. Turns out someone from the next shift is doing thier job without knowing anything. Came down were very angry, staff has absolute zero knowledge on how to handle customer. We tried talking to the manager multiple times at last when my dad was smoking outside the hotel. The front desk guy Zakaria came to us and handed the phone saying you Indians cant stay here(threating us to leave). You can leave, we will give you a refund. He treated us like we owed him something. Absolute worst experience of my life. We lodged a complaint with 911. They told us to wait in the car, my mom is a patient of High blood pressure. I called again explaining that my mom is not feeling well. I waited for a while then booked a hotel nearby.

The hotel said that they didnt see the payment method and i need to pay the room with my credit card. I want to cancel my payment method or if you can contact the hotel to help me fix the problem please. I dont want to pay in double. Even if I showed proof of that they didn’t believe me. Your hotel is a BIG 00. Even the client service is a BIG 0.

When we went in the room in the evening we to take a good bath and there was hair on the wall and in the bath and on the floor. If I would give them no stars I would. First off let me start by saying, I have stayed at this property in the past and I have always given them an excellent rating however, this time was horrific. The problems started off as an annoyance but got worse as time went on. I’ll start with the worst part.

I cannot imagine they clean the Jacuzzi tubs. As a matter of fact, the night manager Pierre told my husband to bring this to the attention to the day time manager because the tubs are supposed to be maintanance free. He went on the claim that there is air in the jets to prevent the need for cleaning. GROSS! On our last night my son turned the jets on while the tub was still filling. We hadn’t added bubbles yet. I turned the jets on and to my horror the tub was filled with mold! We had bathed in mold for the precious 4 nights without realizing! I have videos and photos for proof. Also after talking to Pierre it became evident that I would need to take an extra step. Rather than apologize or admit a mistake in every situation we had both managers lies, changed their stories and deflected into each other. Before leaving the next day, Day 6, into put water into the clean tub then turned in the jacuzzi. After 6 days mold was still coming out of the jets. My children bathed in that tub! Mold is very dangerous but the management did not show an ounce of concern.

Unmaintained parking lot. This is Canada. It snows, a lot! When the lot was snow covered it wasn’t too bad walking through it. However, on night 4 the snow turned to freezing rain and by morning the lot was covered in several inches of ice. We left close to noon and the lot was still covered in ice. Walking to the car, I slipped and took a bad fall. My hip is bruised and my elbow, wrist and shoulder are still sore. It’s been over 24 hours now.

Unprofessional and disrespectful management. When I brought these issues to the attention of management, my concerns were not taking seriously. Pierre would not listen. He just kept saying “talk to Mr Diop”. I had already done that and got no where. As we were checking out we once again attempted to give Mr Diop a chance to acknowledge our concerns. As I spoke of mold and falling down in the lot he continuously smilied, laughed at me and spoke very loudly over me. After my husband asked him what was so funny (after he laughed about me falling) I then turned my phone on to record the conversation. I’ve shared the audio with several people and they are all amazed by the lack of professionalism.

The first problem we had which now seems minor in comparison to unsanitary and unsafe conditions was an issue that started with another guest and then became an issue of poor management. On our 4th night just past midnight a hotel employee knocked on our door saying there was a noise complaint. At 11:59 my 4 year old son woke up to use the bathroom then called into the room for me to come help him. He called out one time. That is it. Pierre admitted that if he was the one who came to the room he would have waited at our door a few minutes before knocking to validate the complaint. Instead this person disrupted us as we were trying to get our son back to sleep. Pierre then went on to explain that guests will often make invalid complaints in attempt to get a room comp. Mr Diop assured me that there were no further issues and that he spoke to the guest who confirmed no other issues. He offered to allow us to move to another room but it was my birthday and I had no interest in packing up a room shared by 4 people to move for 1 night. Pierre then claimed that Mr Diop had confused us with another noise complaint that was indeed a party and that those guests had to be removed by the police. Mr Diop denied that claim. After telling me that the other guest would be next to us another night and that “he is a government employee!” Mr Diop then changed his story saying that the guest was moved. The stories kept changing. He also then stated that the guest was a member of the military. So much for privacy. We are now certain of who...

First and last time here! Worth spending money to go elsewhere.

As others have commented the website does not inform you of the current renovation and construction.

Upon arrival we witnessed a very dissatisfied couple leaving complaining of their dissatisfaction with their room, more specifically the cleanliness of the room. We met this couple as we rounded the hotel in search of the reception desk. Being guided by those guests we met reception. Little to no information was provided upon arrival, such as information about our stay, hotel amenities, breakfast times, coupons for the free breakfast etc. We finally received our room keys, and noticed the hotel was in desperate need of a deep clean not to mention the need for updates. The hotel appeared to be out of a scene from a 1980s horror movie. The carpets looked like they hadn’t been shampooed much less vacuumed. In addition, we noticed a strong odour of paint walking down the hallway. Our room: walking into our room, it was also a complete disappointment. There were safely issues, maintenance issues, and cleanliness issues. For example, the fire alarm was hanging off of the wall, the phone was not working, the floors were extremely dirty, the furniture was extremely run down, there was dirt/dust and dirty tissues behind the nightstand, the sinks were not draining, the bedding was stained, one of the pillows did not have a pillow case, and we were not provided enough linens for the number of guests ie one face cloth. we debated on whether to leave however after driving 8 hours to get here and being 8pm at night we decided to contact the manager. In calling the front desk to find a manager, the reception we spoke to was not helpful and told us there was no manager on site. Then she hung up the phone on me after she continued to talk over me. When we called back we found that there was in fact a supervisor here. The supervisor Jonathan came to our room to address the issues. Jonathan was in agreement with the poor customer service, and the condition of the room. He told us that he would pass on our complaints to the manager for the following day and that he would leave them a note where we would be provided with a suite for the following night and a refund for one night or a discount on both nights. Satisfied with his answer ,and not wanting to have to move all of our things at that time of night we hesitantly spent the night in the room. On the following day we went to breakfast where they asked us to provide coupons…in which we never received. The food was probably the best part of our stay. Upon leaving for the day on sat, we went to the front desk to look into our suite that we were promised. The reception indicated that she read the note on file and said they had a suite for us when we would return that evening. Upon returning that evening after being away all day, as we approached the hotel, the police were there responding to a call. In addition there was a person who was also at the entrance in the morning, having a cigarette; his nose was covered in blood. He was of somewhat questionable behaviour. Upon approaching reception, the police officers were handling their call with the manager. After which We spoke to the manager, Dordi. Dordi said he had no clue what we were talking about. He said he did not have suite, and that he would investigate with his staff, the nature of all the things we had reported. It seemed as though he did not care. It was one more promise that had been broken. It was also another negative interaction with the 5th staff member. He only offered…Im sorry at the end of the conversation which did not appear to be genuine. The only staff member that provided decent customer service was Jonathan…or so i thought…. This was a disaster of an experience. I am not optimistic that this hotel will reimburse our stay or provide a satisfactory discount. I highly recommend staying anywhere but here. This hotel was rated a4 star, i would give it a 1 however if 0 star was an option that would...
