Yeah I really enjoyed this place. It's a good atmosphere with good service. There's people walking around everywhere to serve you a drink. If you need one, there's a restaurants. There's good security. Everywhere. People themselves are not impressive. Like the crowd is not high maintenance crowd. It's really like I don't know if all the farmers come over from Ontario, but it's a bit farmer style everyone's in their flip flops and shorts. I was concerned about running shoes but they accept you in shorts and flip-flops. You could go straight from the beach to the casino and I guess I understand because the weather is very warm out. But I think that the dress code should be applied a little bit more. But it seems casinos are a little more desperate nowadays with their proud selection. But anyways, overall good casino. Good drinks. Good stuff. Well stuffed people are helpful. Everything else is pretty good. I would recommend going there if you're going to go to the casino. It's a good casino to go to they have a lot of tables for blackjack and all sorts of games. They have a lot of slot machines. They have good slot machines that night. They had a live band doing really good songs and actually the band was quite talented as two girls singing. They look like twins and the hot one on the left was singing really well. And yeah I would recommend it then after that there was a DJ so you could still like dance. There was people dancing. It was a lot of fun. Overall, I would recommend going there. We're definitely going back. It's our anniversary spot. We were there for our anniversary our wedding anniversary. Oh, we stayed at the Hilton which is incredibly expensive, but it's a nice hotel. You know you get what you pay for. We had a nice room. They gave us an upgrade because it was our anniversary. They gave us little macarons that we ate that were very good. So I would say if you're going to go to Lac leamy Go stay on the Hilton. It's by far the best hotel over there. Yeah you'll pay a bit more but it's worth it. You know you got the luxury. You got little gardens. You got the lake right in front. You got a nice swimming pool indoor outdoor. It's really a nice place. I mean the staff is good too. You got to stay at the Hilton to know what I'm talking about but it's worth it. Just I would say go stay there so that's it folks go and get out good stay at the Hilton get a room there splurge you deserve it. Treat yourself to something nice and elegant and fun and worth your money in the end. So go enjoy it. And don't forget to leave a nice comment for the Hilton and the casino since they did so good for you like they did for me. All right there. All right. Tough...
Read moreRestaurants: Arome Rest. was too overrated on the day we were there. *Oysters were delicious, but the main dish was terrible. Service: our male server seemed to have abandon us as we wanted to place an order.
His tip reflected the terrible service! Tips should never be automatic but given for goos services rendered! We are generous tippers when we receive service to match. This is our 3rd actual visit!
**Our second attempt to eat at Arome, we had booked seating time of 5:15pm. So we arrived within 5 minutes of our seating time. We were told by a "snippy hostess", that pur rable wasn't ready and how she didn't know when the people at "our" assigned table were going leaving!!! So we just have to wait. So, we waited. But we were hungry so we ate elsewhere. She was not going to have them leave as they overstayed their time! She failed her position. WE ARE SENIORS WHO HONOURED OUR PART BY SHOWING UP at the scheduled time for supper . SO WE LEFT- because we cannot be expected to 'just wait for an undetermined time until the PEOPLE at our table decided to leave!
We have attended other "Timed Seating" events at other restaurants. All were on time, or, we were sested within
Read moreWORST Experience at the Casino - Avoid at All Costs I recently had the worst experience at this casino, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Here's what happened: I was playing blackjack at one of the machines in the back. After only 5 minutes, the machine broke down mid-game. All the money I had put in was gone, along with the game itself. I pressed the “Call Attendant” button and waited for over 5 minutes, but no one came. There were only two dealers, and no staff around to assist. I approached a dealer and explained what happened. The dealer tried to check the logs and debug the machine for about 7 minutes but then admitted they didn’t have the authority to do anything and would need to call someone else. This was already frustrating since I had to wait even longer, and this was the second time this had happened to me at this casino! The next employee who arrived did the exact same thing—checking logs, debugging the machine, wasting another 15 minutes. At this point, I asked for a refund of the money I had initially put into the machine (I wasn’t even asking for my winnings from the game I was about to win when the machine broke). But they denied my request and completely ignored what I was saying. Then, they called a manager, and another employee came—a lady this time. I had to explain everything AGAIN, and yet she repeated the same process: checking logs, discussing with others, and not doing anything productive. When I told her that this happened last time but employee who was talking with me understood and gave my money back, it is a simple issue - the machine is broken, I lost my bet, and I should get my money back, she arrogantly dismissed me, saying - “That was the other manager’s decision last time, but today it’s my decision, and I deny it.” She was rude, stubborn, and completely unwilling to listen to a customer. At one point, she even ignored me and started chatting with another employee while I was speaking. I told her this was unacceptable, and I was now owed compensation for the time they wasted, my lost money, and the fact that they ruined my Christmas mood. But she didn’t care at all. This went on for over half an hour. In the end, I got no resolution, no refund, and no respect from the staff. It wasn’t even about the money anymore—it was about the complete lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic decency. If you’re thinking about going to this casino, don’t. If a machine breaks, you’ll lose your money, waste your time, and be treated horribly by the staff. Save yourself the trouble and find a place that values its customers. Absolutely the TERRIBLE experience...
