Bistro75 — Restaurant in Gatineau

I feel this restaurant and possibly the hotel is Indian owned and operated because of the variety of Indian dishes available on the menu. While intown I stayed 2 nights, both times I had the breakfast buffet. On Sunday Sept 28, 2025. The dark skin girl working Sunday morning needs to be re-trained on how to be a good server. She was quick to take my breakfast voucher but when I requested coffee it was never brought to me and so I never ever got coffee with my breakfast. Many would agree it's essential. I took the yogurt up to my room and when I got up to my room and noticed the spoon i took up hadn't been washed. Even then I ordered food on Sunday night and the pizza was great. The Sunday evening staff were amazing as we're the Monday morning breakfast staff. The breakfast buffet was thorough and had a few extras like baked beans. Loved this place, feels like an old British pub to me. Not the ones we find here, but the ones from when I lived in the UK.

Most of the menu is curries, everything sounds real good.

The dishes we had were good but the chicken tikka was undercooked a bit near the bone for the bigger piece, the smaller piece was good.

Naan was remarkable and service was amazing. Although there was a male waiter and a bartender girl, the male waiter was the one helping at the tables and at the bar.

Not sure what is going on there bit as soon as people showed up at the bar, the blond bartender would vanish.

This is a fun place and a cool menu and decor. Just not sure people are aware of it enough. As the location is just a little awkward to get to.

We went for the $10 tasting platter this weekend. We didn’t have high expectations as the place was new and we only paid $12 each (after EventBrite fees), however, the experience was way below expectations. The service was slow and disorganized- we never got a drink menu, struggled to flag someone down for more water, and it took forever to get our food. Our third platter with the entrees did not come out at the same time- I waited a few extra minutes to get butter chicken without any chicken. Both of our platters were cold. At that point we decided to leave- it wasn’t worth saying anything.
