Don's Dining — Restaurant in Grande Prairie

First of all I waited 50 minutes on a "20 minute" takeout order, The restaurant was absolutely filthy (I have no idea how Health services has not shut it down yet), I had to go back for chopsticks as there was no cutlery included, went back again because the cream cheese wontons were missing the sweet sauce that I've experienced comes with them at every other restaurant to be told they dont come with sauce, I asked if I could have some more sweet and sour packets as they only gave me two and she wanted to charge me $3 for more packets after I had spent $45 plus a 10% tip! Food was average. Save your money and go to Golden Star!!! Golden Star...

We have eaten here in the past, but not for a while. Ordered delivery, came quickly. The food was not what I remember and absolutely terrible. The chicken balls and shrimp were 80% greasy batter, so greasy that there is literal puddles of oil in the bottom of the container. The ribs and ginger beef were dry and deep fried to oblivion, with one rib it was just a deep fried bone covered in batter. The noodles and rice were bland, with hardly any chicken in either. Girlfriend and I ordered for the first time, by door dash. Arrived in about 25 mins. Food was hot. Got a combo plate each, both consisted of Deep Fried cream cheese wonton - Good, chicken balls - Good Chicken fried rice - Was more like onions, chicken and rice. - Mediocre Dry ribs- more batter, bone than rib Chicken chow mein- was good but almost dry. Would reccomend for someone looking for a "cheaper meal"

I don't know if it was an off day for them - just my opinion on it. Girlfriend said it was okay. I may not order again.
