I work around the UofA and look for alternatives to the pricy U food and drink options. As well as wanted to support local during the current times. Support local! I saw it open and tried it one day and now, I've been about 4 times. Ironically enough, I'm not a coffee drinker. I drink their chais (a bit on the spicy, warm side- still good) and their London Fogs (so delicious). Their cinnamon knots (4.50) are huge and are to die for. Decided I needed a better breakfast so went for the wrap--- it's sooooo good. The prices are reasonable and the food and the drinks are good. :) Worth going to over Starbucks! They also carry local and sustainable goods. I recommend you...

I asked for the Wi-Fi info, which wasnāt obvious, and the waitress didnāt know where to find it either. She said sheād look into it, but after waiting 20-30 minutes and seeing me walk around trying to find the code, she completely ignored me. Even when it wasnāt that busy, she didnāt make any effort to help or checking in.

The vibe and food are good, but the service really needs some work. All this happened...

I've been to two locations and both were equally enjoyable. There is wifi and a variety of coffees, pastries, and sandwiches. You can select from several seating options. There are chairs, booths, counter seating, and more tables in an upstairs area. The main cafe is ground floor and totally wheelchair accessible. The staff are pleasant and helpful if you need help ordering or have questions. The atmosphere is relaxed, with light music playing at a reasonable volume. There are live plants and lots of natural light. I would recommend stopping in for coffee. You will be...
