I recently visited The Pint, expecting a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. Initially, I was warmly greeted upon arrival at the bar. I was given a menu and eagerly anticipated a relaxing evening. However, as time went on, it became evident that the staff had forgotten about me.
After being greeted so positively, I had hoped for attentive service throughout my visit. Regrettably, I found myself constantly trying to catch the attention of the servers, who seemed preoccupied and inattentive. Despite my efforts to engage with them, it was disheartening to be repeatedly overlooked. The lack of attention affected the overall enjoyment of my visit. It created an atmosphere of neglect and made me feel undervalued as a customer. It's important for any establishment to prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure prompt and attentive service. While I understand that busy periods can sometimes lead to slight delays, it's disappointing when basic customer service expectations are not met. The experience left me feeling unappreciated and unlikely to return or recommend The Pint to friends and acquaintances. In order to improve, I encourage the management and staff of The Pint to focus on enhancing their customer service. Training the team to be more attentive, responsive, and proactive would go a long way in ensuring a positive experience for every visitor. A friendly and efficient staff can truly make a difference in establishing a loyal customer base. I hope that my feedback is taken constructively, as I genuinely believe that The Pint has the potential to provide a delightful experience. I hope that future visitors receive the attention and service they deserve, as it truly enhances the overall atmosphere of any...
Read more4 of us have been getting together for Wing Wednesdays here for quite some time. However, from the first time we went to the last, a lot has certainly changed. Positives: The wings are fantastic, especially the honey garlic and creamy dill, well most really. I think we have tried almost all of them. The drinks are yummy, the margaritas were delish, they also have a good variety of IPA's which is the reason we kept coming back. Oh! and literally the best fries I have ever had...
Negatives: the music and TVs are way too loud for a casual wing Wednesday; we can't even hear ourselves talk and we have to yell to hear each other. We just went last Wednesday, and we waited for over 20 minutes for anyone to even talk to us, yet staff were chatting with a table of buddies and with each other for 15 of those minutes or more. When they finally did come to talk to you, they apologize for the wait "We are so busy." HAHA right. The bathrooms were vile, in one stall the toilet paper was looped over some bar near the top of the stall because the dispenser was missing, I had to stand up to get it, that is after I found it since I would've never thought to look up for it. They bathroom was just filthy, and it wasn't like there was anyone in there. This had to be days and days of dirty.
Lastly, in my opinion the sticky sweet wings were just wings drenched in what seemed a half a bottle of BBQ sauce that was neither sweet nor sticky. Unfortunately, we have to find a new favorite place to have wing night with our friends, where we can actually visit and catch up. and get at least the drinks in...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusted with the attitude of security on Saturday, December 9th. What was a positive experience was completely ruined by the complete douchebag of a security staff at the end of the night. Not even a MINUTE after the music was shut down for the private event that was being held at the back, a screeching, aggressive man in his little security tshirt was angrily yelling at everyone to “get the hell out because (he) want(s) to go home”. As we were gathering jackets, purses, etc the screeching man continued to aggressively shoo everyone out the door. After asking if we could wait for our Uber inside for a minute, the miserable man answered extremely aggressively “no, get out” and continued to physically shoo us outside. I myself work in the bar industry and can speak to the blatant negligence to duty of care these representatives of the pint were displaying. I fully understand the itch to go home after a long night of dealing with drunk people, but the complete power trip that this bouncer was on was inexcusable. There’s a certain way of going about these things without making guests who just spent money at your bar feel unwelcome. I suggest taking a good look at the way you treat guests if you want your bar to have more than 12 people (at most) in it at midnight on a Saturday. As someone who has even planned multiple university team parties at the pint whyte, I will make a point to avoid this place and I will advise teammates and friends planning events to do the same. I’d rather go to one of the many other bars in this city that actually want people in...
