Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

1496 lasalle Blvd, Sudbury Ontario.

On July 25th, 2025 at approximately 9:45 am My children 3 & 6 year old had to use the rest room during our pit stop for breakfast as the youngest is in potty training & they come to work with me.

The toilets in the woman’s restroom were full of faeces, both toilets stalls had human faeces all over the floors & toilets, when asked to clean it for daughter as it’s unsanitary, the manager “Maryanne Mackenzie” asked me to leave the store if I didn’t like it as her staff was “too busy” and it’s “too hectic to send someone to clean in the mornings” she then decided too question my life & career choices before rolling her eyes & retrieving to the back of the store ignoring my request to provide me her name.

After having to argue with 3 of the staff members including another manager named “Vishav”, they shrugged off my concern to use the bathroom & after 15 minutes sent someone to clean ONLY the inside of the toilet, leaving used toilet paper, urine & stool all over the rest of the rest room.

During another occasion a few weeks ago I witnessed a staff member being verbally abused, the store has flies & roaches all over the floors & food, when I made a comment the staff did not seem concerned at all, The store is regularly disgusting,

I have only ever made 2 stops at that Tim Hortons & will not be returning, the employees are rude, no one has any respect for human decency & lack awareness of their surroundings.

I have worked at times Hortons & my family still manages other locations & this is unacceptable for the conditions the store is in, or for children to be having to deal with in order to use...

Today isn’t the first time I’ve received terrible service in Drive-Thru but it is the last time as this location is being avoided by me and my family moving forward. I’ve been a long time 30 year regular here and have seen many turn over here.. but as of late, the hiring has been terrible and service has been atrocious. We pulled up to the window at no point did the lady even look at us. She just gave us the machine without even checking how we were paying. We were paying with cash and needed our Tim card scanned. She turns to see the card, and still hasn’t made eye contact with us. Scans the card and tells us we have a free coffee while talking with her back to us. We were waiting to hand her a tip with our hand out the window while she was talking away with her coworker with my coffee in her hand… still not acknowledging us. So we threw the tip on the drive through counter as we were tired of holding out our hand waiting to even be acknowledged. To which she comes out and finally hands our coffee over and has the audacity to tell us we need to hand the tips in her hand. We lost our cool at that point because we hadn’t even been acknowledged or even looked at… Absolutely made a scene and went inside to further speak with management while the drive thru staff here laughing at us and yelling over the counter. Never returning there, location needs to be shut down and reopened with new staff before these terrible workers run down...

I went to this timhorton 3 times in the past two weeks and today was the last straw. The 1rst time I left, after waiting 5mins at the front cash around 11pm. 2nd time, it was amazing. Tonight, there was a mistake in my order, I have asked for 2 chocolate chunk cookies. The lady at the cash was very nice, and still on training. After ordering, I asked for cash back, but they didn't have that option as another person explained to me so, I didn't bother much and just wanted to leave with my cookies. After paying, I received oatmeal raisin cookies. It's not the cashier's fault as they were mislabelled on the display and it was the only kind left. So, as anyone would, I asked for a refund. The trainnee didn't know what to do so she asked the same lady and then she was rude and disrespectful. She told me, with a bitter attitude, that I did this to get cash back. All I wanted was my cookies. And 2$ isn't going to do much when I asked for 5. I also asked the trainnee if she could change the sign to not have any confusion in the future. Gladly, she did. I went with my 2$ to another Tim's for my cookies.
