Not enough can be said about this restaurant. From the first time I went there, it has become my favourite restaurant in Sudbury.

The atmosphere is very nice, with wine racks throughout, positioning it as a finer establishment but, when you look around, guests are in suits and dresses, shorts and sandals or even high-viz gear, clearly visiting during or after work. In the summer, there is a good-sized patio for those who like to enjoy the outdoors, though I generally prefer to be inside.

There is an online and dial-in reservation system, which I recommend using, as they have a loyalty rewards program tied to the phone number used to make the reservation. Also, as one of the most popular restaurants in Sudbury, they fill up fast most days, so a reservation is always best.

Service is consistently prompt and friendly without rushing you. This has been especially noticeable during business lunches, as we can review the menu, enjoy a leisurely meal, pay, and be on our way within the hour. Recently, I've been there a couple of times on weekends and have been served by Chris, who is very professional but has a good sense of humour.

Now... the food. I've taken many people there - friends, family, clients - and everyone has thoroughly enjoyed their meal - not even one "meh". One recently said it was the best meat sauce she had ever tried, and I have to agree. (They even sell the sauce to go, I discovered.) All food is fresh, and they've mentioned that even many of their desserts are homemade... and several of them were gluten free, which was a treat for my daughter. My personal favourite is the Limoncello Tartufo, which is very light after a big meal.

The price is, well, maybe on the low end of what you would expect for fresh, quality food in a fine dining establishment. Entree's are generally $20-$30, of course more if you're getting something like steak or salmon.

All in all, it's a great place and worth the visit (repeatedly, in my case). I encourage visitors to include it in their plans for sure, and locals to try it...

Great service and a cozy patio! This was my first time in Sudbury, and although the restaurant was a little out of the way, it turned out to be a charming find. We were greeted warmly and seated on their lovely patio.

Our server, Kitty, was excellent—super friendly and even lent us a phone charger while we had dinner, which was a thoughtful touch.

I had the fish and chips, and while the portion was generous, the batter was a bit too hard and greasy for my taste, and the fries were on the smaller side. It just didn’t sit quite right with me. That said, my wife enjoyed her pizza, and the dessert was absolutely decadent.

Overall, a pleasant experience with great service. I’d come back and try something different next time...

Pre-Covid, even mid COVID this place had really good quality food especially for the mid price. Since inflation and their expansion of food income sources has taken a hit but you’re sure to find a few favourites!

I personally love their fried calamari, chicken parm sandwich, village salad, and bruschetta.

I’ve tried most of their other stuff. I would say the panzerotti would be another great hit. I personally don’t love their fried style of wings and pizza but I know many who love that style and think it’s great quality. Not my favourite and the quality could be better but still have a few goodies :)

Would go here every so often :) (I go in person and order takeout, better...

The pizza is the main event here, there’s no denying that they do it well 👍. Our food even came out fast despite how busy it was!! But I wanted to be different and try something else, so I went with the chicken souvlaki bowl. Chicken was dry, vegetables were limp, rice was flavourless, and the naan bread was cold and sad. I also went at around 6pm on a Thursday and it was pretty lit up with kids and felt very jammed, which is totally expected of a popular restaurant. Next time I will try a pasta or get the pizza again, maybe later in the evening. Props to our server for providing great service amidst the chaos.
