Thanks for hanging up on me on this wonderful Mother's Day after telling me my keys were not left at my table where low and behold they absolutely were there. Super kind of you all to do to a mother who dined at your restaurant for Mother's Day! Hanging up pn me mid-sentence as I cried, trying to tell the girl where the keys exactly were, leaving me until now 4:50pm with no access to my home and no keys for my car really made my day. Thanks so much. Dining here was my worst choice today. Zero customer service. If you guys cared in any way and didn't so rudely hang up on me, I could have actually got yous to locate them and I could have actually had a day aside from crying, panicking, and looking for my keys in places I knew they weren't because nobody cared to listen to me and actually take a look. Never again. It's incredibly sad that is I hadn't chosen to eat at Perkins, and ate somewhere else with any caring staff who value their customers and strive to actually provide good customer service, I could have actually enjoyed my Mother's Day. You guys are the worst. It took me nearly 2 hours of calling over and over again to have someone answer the phone. Of course once I was hung up on, I couldn't get a hold of anyone again as they wouldn't answer the phone. My bf located them exactly where we left them, sitting right at the windowsill at the table we sat at. Worst day ever. Today was supposed to be a happy day. This is an experience I will never be able to get back now, and a horrid Mother's Day I will unfortunately carry the memory with me...
Read moreI was a guest at the hotel all week and frequented the restaurant. On my last visit I had a steak dinner and drank four Heineken. I tipped my waitress 10$ and returned to my room for a shower. I returned later-on to the restaurant only to find that my previous waitress had left and there were 2 waiters in her place. The service was very poor despite the fact that the restaurant was clearly less busy. I assure you that in no way was my opinion of their poor services communicated in a verbal or physically visible manner. I waited patiently for an hour on average between drinks. After 3 beers they denied me service unexpectedly. I had no problem with the female server but after an hour of sitting there, in a fairly empty establishment with an empty glass and the only person sitting at the bar, I was forced to ask the male waiter for another beer. He was obviously annoyed by my request. At that point I was unexpectedly cut off. I was upset so I tipped 0$. Never in my life have I ever tipped 0$. I was upset not only at the situation but at the fact that I was forced to tip 0$. Now I feel cheap. In conclusion, I hope this review serves to accurately and fairly describe my disappointment with this establishment. I am writing this post now minutes after I left the restaurant while the experience is...
Read moreArrived at this location with a party of 7 (5 adults & 2 children). We were seated promptly, but that was the only thing that was prompt about our visit. Service was exceptionally slow even though the restaurant was only moderately busy (less than half full). In the area where we were seated, a group of contractors planning some type of renovations to the restaurant were working practically overhead of our table on ladders, pulling ceiling tiles down, etc...all while we were attempting to enjoy our meal. Food took approximately 30 minutes to arrive at our table, though certain members of our group had to ask repeatedly for their full order and even had to get up and go to the kitchen to ask for the rest of their order. The food (breakfast items which Perkins usually does quite well) were sub par with over cooked eggs and hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict that was badly broken and looked like it had sat under a heat lamp for some time. I've eaten breakfast at this particular Perkins location on several occasions and enjoyed fairly good service and food (though nothing exceprional) but this occasion was terrible. My whole group left feeling rather disappointed with the whole experience. I think it may be time to find a new breakfast restaurant for future...
